SWMAN Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Very cool. I really love all of your Alphabet ships. The amount of detail is quite amazing. Quote
sigpro Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Wow! Looks very nice. The load compartiments in the front are interesting. The hidden missiles also. Dont want to be a droid and find your vehicle coming towards me!! Is it a starship or a land vehicle? Greetings! Quote
pedro Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 That's really cool Rook, I love the whole landing craft feel your vehicle has to it, the shape works really well for this function. The detail and markings are spot-on too! I can imagine squads of these swooping down over the battlefield, repulsors hovering them to a halt as their cargo doors slam open, disgorging hundreds of troopers into the thick of the action, lasers firing everywhere - WWII beach landing style but in the Clone Wars setting! My only suggestion would be to thin out the connecting sections between the cockpit and cargo hulls - It would make the shape more intersting from a head-on view and overall make the M shape a little more suggestive and less blatant. I can appreciate that might be a bit difficult due to the way you've constructed it though... it's still a great build regardless! Your mini-vehicles are quite nice too - very reminiscent of the old Star Wars Mini-rigs line. Quote
CommanderFox Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 WOW i love it!! There's alot of SNOTing going on there the M shape is AWESOME aswell well done and i look forward to N CommanderFox Quote
BillytheKid Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 This is awesome. Great idea and zo much details. Even 100 pic's isn't enough to view this set good. Good job . Quote

Darth Legolas Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 God that looks great! May I ask, each time you make a new ship do you take apart the old one for pieces? I would just die if I found out you had to take apart that giant CIS lander that carried MTTs. You did an amazing job on this, I love the size! An N-wing is always good but I'm reallly ready to see how you'll make an O-wing! Quote
pedro Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) Did the N-Wing a while back already. Only have F & J left now. Have you still got all the other alphabet fighters built? Or have you had to disassemble them as you go along? Was just thinking - a line-up with all of them would make a great photo! Edited July 6, 2009 by pedro Quote
Anio Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Change the position of the pilot, and you get immediately your W-Wing ! Quote

An N-wing is always good but I'm reallly ready to see how you'll make an O-wing! Already did just have F & J left. I actually made 2. 1 when I first started the project which was lame and a 2nd that was like an Atom symbol. Change the position of the pilot, and you get immediately your W-Wing ! Except that would be lame. If you're making the whole alphabet (26 ships) why only make 25. The W-Wing that I made was a CIS ship. Edited July 7, 2009 by Rook Quote
Loganwan Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Another great ship. When I am looking in the Star Wars Forum and I see the word Alphabet come up on the screen, I get excited to see what you have done now. This is a fantastic design. The way the pieces move to different angles to form the legs of the M is amazing. Some letters seem to lend themselves to ships better than others. I can't wait to see what you do for a J-wing. I ma sure that will be something. Those a-symetrical ships are a little tricky to pull off and still look good. Quote
Spyder Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Great work! Everyone of these ships amazes me. The ingenuity it takes to come up with all these ships is incredible. This one imparticular reminds me of the Covenant Spirit Dropship. How you capture the exact shape of the letter every time I'll never figure out. Great work yet again, and I can't wait until you make F and J. Quote
Star_Wars_Rules Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 It looks more like a big land tank that would deploy support forces of some sort. Very nice. Quote
Rufus Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Excellent stuff, love the 45 degree angles, and all the features. I'm amazed you've had the patience to do all these. What are you going to do when you've finished? I'd love to see a whole Greek alphabet of shuttles! Quote
