Posted July 6, 200915 yr Greetings! i am new to this forum and noticed this section on the site! I recently bought the Lego Express set #4534. I have been having a blast with this set. However, eventually I want to be able to make a town layout like I have seen with so many of the members in this forum. In order to do so, I am left searching for the last piece I will need to make the layout complete and that is a train level crossing. I am looking for Lego set # 4532-1, 4539-1, or 10218-1. The last set seems almost completly un-obtainable as the price has skyrocketed beyond my checkbook. Either one of the three sets mentioned will do but the only thing I ask is that the stickers and parts all be present. An instruction mannual is not required. I have tried searching far and wide but are either dealt with expensive shipping costs or expensive sets. I would be willing to go as high as $55 usd and even more depending on condition of set and shipping charges. Please let me know if anyone is interested by contacting me at str8226@yahoo.com. Thank you and happy building! Vestasbuyer
July 7, 200915 yr I can look around for you in Holland, but i don't think 55$ is going to cut it. *starts to dig hole..* Correct me if I'm wrong, witch I probably am.. but isn't $55 USD a little more in holland ..erm.. coin of the realm? I know it's off topic, also ^^ good luck with finding the pecies you need mate! *keeps digging hole..*
July 7, 200915 yr I would suggest continuing to look at eBay and Bricklink to find these sets. Just from the prices I see on Bricklink, you appear to be pretty well out of luck getting the sets for under 55 USD. 4532-1 runs from 48.90 to 105.00 USD. 4539-1 runs from 44.00 to 160.00 USD. The ones I see on eBay are running about the same prices or higher but theres always a shot that you might come across a deal there. I have experienced fair shipping prices on Bricklink so the one that is 44.00 USD might fall in your price range, but it is in Germany so shipping may just be high. Best of luck to you!
July 7, 200915 yr 10218 doesn't exist. I believe he means 10128: , the largest of the train crossings. I second the ebay option: Try to get one of the smaller sets 4532/4539 off ebay. Just take your time and be patient - it will pay off. The 10128 set simply isn´t buyable for your suggested price limit. Good luck!
