How I like the theme: ("I love it!") I think that the overall theme is great, but some sets (like Space Speeder and Gold Heist) are extremely bad sets. I also have yet to buy a set.

Best aliens are the Skull Twins, hands down. The best alien vehicle is the one in Hyperspeed Pursuit. The best Police vehicle was tricky, mostly a toss up between the Enforcer and Hyperspeed ship, but in the end I had to give the nod to the enforcer. Btw I actually like the police uniforms.

I'm finding it hard to answer this poll since not all the sets are available yet.

Also I absolutely hate the police side of it and just buy the sets for the aliens...

But probably the best alien is Kranx, Squidman is nice except I'm put off by his permanent glancing-over-the-shoulder expression which limits his usefulness. The Skull Twins might be a competitor, tho I don't own them yet.

Space police disappoints me mostly due to color choices. I dislike pretty much every color choice in the series. This series doesn't feel anything like the space of old and that is the space I like. Castle is the same way for me. There are lots of parts in the sets I like but other than a select few parts I have no interest in these sets.

I would love to get ahold of alien heads and matching hands in a decent quantity so I could make my own aliens and leave the gangster/hoodlum story behind. Sadly, the minis don't have matching hands so I can't do just swap them.

The space police are in my opinion, worthless. I hate the dark bley, open helmets, no air tanks, generic futuristic cop look. I love the classic Futuron look with red visor and I like the green second series look. I wish they would have done something more in that vein than they way they went. In fact if the SP3 figures had gone in colors like bionicle: dark red, dark green, dark blue, white, black, and light brown but with the classic futuron design I would likely be hording figures and sets right now. As it is I haven't gotten a single set yet. I will wait until I can get them on sale and then sell off the parts I don't want which is most of them.

I'll have to agree with this. The Police figures do indeed have airtanks. I can understand not liking a theme on the basis of it's parts, but to diss a whole theme because of it's color choices..? This isn't Power Miners or anything.

I would have liked it if the "I HATE THEM ALL!" answers would have been just simple "No"s.

I don't like any alien-themes (such as Mars Mission, Life on Mars, Insectoid,...) and even not any non-realistic them (such as Space Police I&II)... but I do like Space Police III!

Overall, I think that the designers had fun when conceiving this theme, while Mars Mission or others are more conventional.

My favourite vehicules are those of the "Hyperspeed Pursuit" because:

- the bad one looks to be taken from Mad Max 2 with a touch of 5th Element;

- the police ship is aerodynamic with a "rounded" design and classic space colours.

I like Freeze Ray Frenzy's vehicles too because, as I wrote elsewhere: the black bike looks really powerful and pleasant to drive, I imagine something like a "flying Harley" making bass & smooth noise and a lot of suit. The police scooter looks powerful as well but with a clean propulsion engine and a "zzzzzz" electric sound and with high handling (like in the "Wonderful Days" movie -- look at this video at 1:20).

My favourite character is Kranxx because his overall design and his open mouth that is new for minifigs. Skull Twins' helmets look great as well.

Actually this is not a space them by its own, the theme is based on a large asteroid with some air and low gravity. I guess there is not enough air for humans or it has a specific composition so that humans feel better if they have air tanks (like they do when climbing mountains on Earth).

In the opposite, Space Police I&II seem to take place in space and sidereal vacuum, far away from planets. Classic Space may take place in the Moon or an inhospitable planet far away.

for me my favorite alien is frenzy i love the space police outfits my favorite baddie ship is the skull interceptor and favorite good ship is the galactic enforcer. Oh, and i love space police 3! oh and the sets I have so far are the first 5 squidman escape , freeze ray frenzy , gold heist, space truck getaway, and hyperspeed pursuit.!

my favorate alien has to be Frenzy, cause his for arms and surprized look are JUST TOO EPIC!

I like the police outfits, but I was inclined to say I hated them because (If you're an alien choose this!)

my favorate baddie ship is ALL OF THEM EQUALY('cause the space speeder wasn't there((other wise it would be all equaly minus that one))) , but since that wasn't an obtion, and some are equal than others I chose HYPER HOPPER(wicked name for an ausome shiplette, and as an added bonus it includes Frenzy.

For the space popo ship I chose the raptor, even though I like the falcon vx more srry

and for the theme, it's probably my favorate since stingrays, and insectoids!!! oh the nostalgia

You should have a section of least favorates, but I guess it's to late

How many figures including aliens come with airtanks? This is space police right? Oh and I must have forgotten that this was SP3 we were talking about seeing as it is a poll based solely on SP3 and I participated. I must have missed the memo that says new themes need to have ugly and boring colored figures with even worse prints on them. The Insectoid prints were even better than these and those are bad. Why do I want leg or back printing, it just drives up the cost of sets as printing LEGO parts always cost more and I would prefer more parts/figures or lower costs than extra printed parts that become more difficult to use outside of the theme. I have already said my farewells to mediocre SP3.

No, your right. Power miners has a superior color theme and parts and as such comes off looking better than any of the SP3 sets. Not that SP3 needed to have such vibrant colors but cetrainly something better the same white/transblue color scheme or the boring uniforms. The alien outfits are even worse, Kranxx looks like an alien drag queen, the twins are reject Octan employees, then you have a freakish troll wannabe, squid man with jumbo head and crooked eyes, and the naked green fellow falshing the universe planet, sorry no air tanks, his alien junk. The ships look like graffitied variations of what would have been really nice designs but again the colors and parts that seem tacked on ruin it for me. I prefer ships with airtight cockpits as well but these must be planetary craft not meant for space. So that places the whole series on a planet in the future. Why call it Space Police then? Why not call it Future Police or Police 2295? I prefer a little more space and a whole lot more color and style in my SP. That and bad guys who are more than petty crooks and vandals.

The poll included options for those who dislike SP3 and I thought I would add some commentary about why I think the theme failed to be something special just like many people were doing for why they like it. I am glad both of you want to think that the entire police force of an intergalactic organization can share three airtanks and manage to make a difference outside of the alien ghetto this theme seems to be stuck in.

1. The Skull Twins rule! :skull: Period. (Although, Kranxx comes in a close second. )
   
2. The SP3 outfits look pretty cool and are very reusable. I like them.
   
3. Both vehicles from Hyperspeed Pursuit are pure awesome, which is why the set is such a win!
   
4. Overall, I like this theme and hope for another wave or two. I especially love all the references to past Lego Space themes. However, sometimes I feel that the set design could have been better, like on Gold Heist, the two exclusives, and the awful Space Speeder (which should be included in the poll IMO, just for fairness ). Also, I'm still kinda bothered by the clash between the gritty/cool look of the SP3 and the cartoony-ness of the criminals. Therefore, I voted it could have been better.

Some people love, others hate -- there is no opinion between both, which is always better than something about which nobody has a real opinion.

I think they used "Space Police III" name because it sounds great, even if there is no relationshion with the prior Space Police line, that's it.

Space Police 3 is a good theme, but only the cargo truck with hidden laser really wows me. It doesn't really fit with my stylistic preferences for space. It's pretty good, and at least we are getting space sets again, but I think the sets and characters could be designed a little better. The police uniforms are kinda' lame and the monsters aren't doing anything for me.
