puddleglum Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Hey everyone! This is my first Pirate MOC, which I made for a contest going on over at a certain other Pirate-themed LEGO site. ;) The contest is to use the 2x2x2 barrel in a creative way in a 10x10 vig. Pierre's Whac-a-Scallywag was an instant hit with local soldiers. The cathartic experience of whacking pirates was worth the price of admission alone; winning one of the fabulous prizes was just icing on the cake. Quote
Zorro Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Very nice, I like the decorated wall (prizes to win I suppose ) PS: I merged both threads. Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Very cool build. The whole thing looks perfect and it is really funny and clever. Hope you do well in your contest. Quote
Lego_Warlord_8 Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 What a hilarious idea!!! I would love to be that imperial there. ~LW 8~ Quote
Capt. Redblade Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Man, I can almost hear the pirate barker... *puts on a Bugs Bunny/pirate/carnival barker voice* "Arrr! Hurrrry hurrrry hurrrry! Test your luck at Whac-a-Pirate! Only two shillings for two minutes of un-be-liev-able pirate hitting action! Orrr test yer luck at the Whac-a-Pirate home game! Only two guineas! Hurrrry hurrrry hurrrry!" Quote
Crystal Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Is the contest still going? Anyways this is funny! think of the other entries Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted July 20, 2009 Governor Posted July 20, 2009 Ahhhhhhhh nothing like the sideshow attractions at a fair... But exactly what is that tall rock like structure with the brick-build bird aplomb supposed to be? Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Hilarious little piece of work! I think the rock and bird are fair ornamentals to attract visitors mr. Phes? Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted July 20, 2009 Governor Posted July 20, 2009 Well yes, it is a very ornamental rock isn't it? I think I might get one for the corner of my garden. Quote
