July 9, 200915 yr http://www.lucasarts.com/company/vip/catal...atalog_2009.pdfI'm waiting until they put the X wing series, jedi knight series and rogue squadron on. Any eurobrickers on steam? I am on Steam, and personally, I am not a huge fan. While games like Half-Life 2 are amazing and work perfectly on Steam, others like Empire: Total War have been plagued by problems from the beginning. The fact that you don't own a physical copy of the game and instead are relying on a download from the internet means that there is a greater chance of having problems. Plus, you have to hassle with both Steam and the game developer to get support. They pass you off to each other like a football. Still, it is a great all around service. Back to the Lucasarts part of your post, I am excited about this. I am hoping they add the Jedi Knight series as well.
September 18, 200915 yr Author Sorry for the bump but KotOR1 and ALL of the jedi knight series have been added to steam. :D £15 (don't know what it is in $ and euor's sorry) for all 5 JK is stupidly cheap for some of the greatest Star Wars games ever.
September 18, 200915 yr What's steam? I should know LOOM, but what is that? I vaguely remember the name.
September 19, 200915 yr Dang no Grim Fandango re-release? That's the game responsible for the death of adventure games! It was a good game, but do we want it to return and kill the few adventure games we have left? I guess available by download is different, but still... Sorry, sad topic
September 19, 200915 yr Thanks for bumping this. I never would have noticed these were available. I might just pick this bundle up, it sounds cool. What's steam Steam is a chat program thats designed to accompany and complement games made by primarily Valve, but also other company's Steamworks has partnered with (most recently LucasFilm). Steam also keeps track of your friends, and notifies you about what games there playing, and when. It's very handy. I believe Steamworks is owned by Valve, but don't quote me on that. The biggest games promoted through Steam are: Half-life, Counterstrike, Team Fortress 2, Day of Defeat, Natural Selection, Garry's Mod, and Left 4 Dead (Valve Games). LOOM You may be thinking of Doom?
September 19, 200915 yr Dang no Grim Fandango re-release? This game is a little tricky to get working on modern hardware anyway. I played through it again last year, but the only way I got it working was to force software rendering in dxdiag. At least software rendering doesn't look that bad here since only the characters and objects are 3D, not the environments.
September 19, 200915 yr Author Thanks for bumping this. I never would have noticed these were available. I might just pick this bundle up, it sounds cool. You may be thinking of Doom? No, Loom is a adventure game. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loom_%28video_game%29
September 19, 200915 yr No, Loom is a adventure game.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loom_%28video_game%29 I know that, but I didn't think Legolas would know about such an obscure game. And so I thought he had heard of the game DOOM (less obscure) and then mistook it for LOOM.
September 23, 200915 yr Dang no Grim Fandango re-release? I was in Poland and saw grim fandago on sale as well as X-wing alliance, most of the monkey island, and battlefront two.
