I love how everytime LEGO does Slave I it just gets better and better, and this time it was just enough changes to make it cooler without ruining what was already an excelent design. Now I can hardly wait for the man in the brown truck to pull up with my set

However I'm a little miffed about the redesigned bottom...Jango's version had a nifty little hole that that I use to mount it flush to the wall with a mug-hook...looks like I'll have to rig something new for Boba's version :P

Like the back a lot, but the cockpit shouldn't be that close to the launcher.

The overall design is indeed better but i still prefer the colour scheme on jangos slave 1.

EDIT: after having a good look at jango fett's i think lego did a teriffic restyle! i really love the new one, it's just nearly perfect, but i stick to my origanal point, it's really expensive, especially for an ordinary schoolboy who collects this kind of ships..... :'(

I remember when lego first brought out the salve 1, i thought it was great at the time then when they released the 2nd one i was blown away and after seeing the new version well lego just keeps getting better and better at the slave 1.

So in a few years we will have a perfect one.

Well I would be. I think they only re-released this version because they realized what utter crap the first version of it looked like. They have no excuse to make another Jango version

At this point I wouldn't mind...after putting the new Slave I together and setting it alongside the Jango version...it made the Jango version look like crap :P

I think these second attempts at SW vehicles LEGO has already given us are starting to spoil me. Now if we can get TIE fighters in the correct colors we'll be golden

Just finished building. Great fun. One big piece was warped though - will try to call Lego later (already tried but a technical fault meant I couldn't be put through to a Lego Expert.

Did anyone else have a 2 x 4 black brick left over? I've scoured the instructions to see where I missed, but can't see it.

In the review, it points out the front doors containing who-knows-what. Could these be weapons for Boba and the Bespin guard? Makes little sense I know, but I'm disappointed at a lack of weaponry for all the cast. For how cheap the loudspeakers and lights are, you'd think they'd do a couple.

Um, the Bespin guard is in the picture with the whole cast, or do you mean a close-up?

And as for the weapons, I hate the megaphone lasers anyway, so a lack of them isn't a big deal
