I´ll stay tuned on your progress for sure ! Truth is, I ONLY have NEW white pieces :) I only started back into Lego at the start of the year and, bar one or two sets that I saved, most of my childhood/old lego went to charity. :( JCC1004 said: This is beautiful! I see you put alot of time and money into this. Please keep this updated. what is the poweer fuction for? It powers the light in the sculpture in the centre of the crossroads type bit. pedro said: Great work Kaitan! You've totally captured the cool, clinical feel of Cloud City. I really like your simple yet effective 'fountain' centre piece and your plate-built walls work really, really well - I guess make it much easier to shift and get your camera in there. Love your custom fleshie Lobot too I'd also considered building a Cloud City diorama but haven't had the full-on motivation to do it - you've certainly set a bar for anyone who tries! Well, my starting motivation was - " I've built hoth, and the Tantive IV, what other white star wars setting can I do?" Of course, I've brought a few more white bricks to get this far :) Who knows whats next? Thanks again to everyone, and thanks to KimT for putting me on the front page - I feel very humble :)) Kaitan Edited August 21, 200915 yr by Kaitan
August 22, 200915 yr Wow, awesome work Kaitan...very arty photos. You've really captured the feel of the movie (my personal favourite out of all the Star Wars movies). And so much white...it gleams...
August 22, 200915 yr wow the updated pictures look awesome! I really like the birds eye view shot of the whole thing cause it really shows of the craftsmanship gone into it. I love your lobot fleshie he looks great (I would love an official one next year). I love your ugnaughts and I agree about the clone trooper faces being good ugnaught heads . You have made an awesome moc Kaitan! Also, what does the power functions thing do?
August 22, 200915 yr Realy love this. I'm hoping you will include a platform for the Slave I, or even the Carbon Freezing Chamber. Darth Legolas said: I'm not sure why you used to C-3PO's in one MOC, but this is really great! Two. There's a W right in the middle of the word. Wouldn't you use two too? Kaitan said: I got the decals from Kam's site, www.fineclonier.com - fantastic decals! So are they 'Water-slide' Decals, or 'Peel-N-Stick' Decals? simonjedi said: will you be including the ice cream maker guy in it?And exactly who is that? Nope, no plans for a Slave I platform, mainly because I don't own a Slave I set and don't really have any motivation to Moc one. The Carbon freezing chamber has been done so many times before, loads of them much better than I feel I could do. I'm trying to do parts of the set that haven't been done a gazillion times already. They are water slide decals, not Peel n stick decals (Peal n stick, that rings a bell! ) As far as I'm aware, Kam only sells water slide decals, although I suppose you could print the decals onto sticky labels if you wanted to. August 23, 200915 yr Awesome! What a good comic you could make with this. I look forward to see the expanded/finished model!

Ah, I understand. MOCing a Slave I would be hard, as the latest official version was really good.So what other thing would you be adding to the MOC? The dining room with Vader? You could use the video game for reference for that room... The list of things to add is in the first post. I'll just carry on doing my own thing using the screencaps from the film, I prefer to work out builds myself rather than attempt to copy the game. What you are doing is working great, though, so nevermind.
August 26, 200915 yr This is a brilliant moc. The best cloud city i have ever seen. Good colours. The minifigs are good and the detail is brilliant. 10/10
