Svelte Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 So inconsiderate. Fine, you hold it. *Hands over Herman's lung*
Dragonator Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 No no, I meant Snitchman was being inconsiderate having it out in the first place. Hang on, how does, Herman's lung fit in to all this? Is there something you're not telling me?
JimBee Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Snitchman leads the way along the thick overgrown path along the train tracks. In some places, he does so in single-file with Jim Butcher and others following close behind. Suddenly, a THWACK is heard! Snitchman has been bushwhacked by a thick tree branch! Attached to the tree branch is a series of sharp wooden spikes that are now stuck in Snitchman's chest, with a few that have also hit Jim's side. Snitchman immediately suffers three life points damage with one more through the loss of blood (-4 Life Points Total) Jim Butcher suffers two life points damage from minor wounds to the side (-2 Life Points) Hey no fair! Who said I was going second? Holy johnson rod! What was that? Are you guys hurt? Here... No, I'm just doubled over 'cause I think something's funny. Thanks. Oh! My! God!Jimbee, are you OK? Here, let me dress that wound. Do you need a sponge bath? Take off your pants. Snitchman, stop that whiney blubbing and coughing up blood. Also, put your lung back inside your ribcage where it belongs. Aw, thanks, Schmelt. My nuts are all better now.
Zepher Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 I'm okay guys! Don't worry about it! This happens to me all the time! Snitchman stumbles and falls on the tracks, and drops his lungs. I'm okay! I can put them back in. Snitchman attempts to swallow his lungs. That didn't work. Could some help me with this blood It's getting EVERYWHERE! I mean, how am I supposed to clean this up! The werewolves will be after us soon! Snitchman falls over, and twitches.
Dragonator Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Well, now that all the excitement is over, shall we continue? I kind of want to finish up here as quick as possible and get back to the train. Ah, Snitchman, you may continue to lead if you like. I'll stick to the middle with Herman here.
AwesomeStar Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Your gonna let him crawl?! *Sighs* Lorraine borrows a few M&M's from Mark, and tosses them a few feet in front of Howard every so often as he crawls forward to reach them See? He just needs motivation!
Darth_Legois Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Oh my god! (seeing his lungs flying everywhere ) Are you sure you guys are alright? it looks like alot of blood *looks at pool of blood* Somebody is definatly trying to kill us....But is it random or where they targeted for a reason?
WesternOutlaw Posted July 16, 2009 Author Posted July 16, 2009 Once poor Snitchman and Jim's wounds are addressed by the medics in the group, the group decide to keep moving before the forest gets dark. I'll take lead, Mark says enthusiastically - but I can't find anymore M&Ms along the trail? Poor Snitchman is in no condition to lead the group. In the distance, the faint sound of water can be heard. About 45 minutes pass and a wooden building can be seen in the distance. It looks like some sort of mill. Getting closer to the structure, the building appears to be an old wooden log mill. - A river runs throught it... (is that a pun?) The sun is setting... Looks like it'll be dark real soon.
Shadows Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Ok, if you kids are done playing with your organs, let's see if we can get somewhere before dark. Wow. That's one serious moc. Let's go in there for shelter and see if we can find anything at the same time.
Ricecracker Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Ok, but I ain't goin' in first, that's fer sure.
WhiteFang Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Let me walk in first to check it out. Come to think of it, I might as well drag Grease along with me.
Stash2Sixx Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Or I can go first, I don't care. Maybe this is where that steam train is at, and maybe it's still intact?
Ricecracker Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Does it not seem odd to anyone that these two people are so eager to go into an old, derelict building? I mean seriously, how often do you find someone who wants to enter an abandoned building, that for all we know could have traps set to kill us. But, since they insist, I think we should let them go first .
AwesomeStar Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 I want to go in too. They could be setting traps. Maybe I should follow and make sure they aren't. I'll follow Brakes and Grease at the head of the group
Hinckley Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Or I can go first, I don't care. Maybe this is where that steam train is at, and maybe it's still intact? Yes, please lead all ways. Watch your backs everybody. The killer isn't afraid to go first... Maybe he even set up a wimpy trap to throw suspicion from himself.
WhiteFang Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Does it not seem odd to anyone that these two people are so eager to go into an old, derelict building? I mean seriously, how often do you find someone who wants to enter an abandoned building, that for all we know could have traps set to kill us. But, since they insist, I think we should let them go first . It does remind me of the awful experience that I have, back at the Train Shed. Nah, I am sure with my keen observation, I will be very careful of whatever I touch, meddle and step.
Zepher Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Oh no you don't Jethro. I'm going in first. No one's been here, so it should be safe of traps. Letting him go first could be fatal. I can live without lungs, but what if someone took out my spleen! He's my best friend. I can't lose him. Lungie was always a whiner, I can't say I'm sad about the lose of him.
Svelte Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 I think it looks perfectly charming! Look how rustic and peaceful it is. Plus, I've had my tetanus shots so if, for example, a flying rusty sawblade knocks off my chef's hat as I walk through the door, at least I won't get lockjaw. I'm happy to go along with Grease & Brakes. Just remember, if I die, you'll have to start eating each other. And not in a good way!
AwesomeStar Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 I'm happy to go along with Grease & Brakes.Just remember, if I die, you'll have to start eating each other. And not in a good way! And Lorraine! Honestly, forget the woman, why don't ya?
Alice Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 I think we should check this place out and stay here for the night if it is safe. It will at least give us a roof over our head for the night. We can start exploring again in the morning. I'm getting chilly.
AwesomeStar Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Mhm, I agree with Arin. We should camp out somewhere. We're all pretty bushed, but we should set a lookout rotor...
Captain Zuloo Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 We're all pretty bushed, but we should set a lookout rotor... Let's explore the building first. Does the track run inside the building making it possible for this old logging train to be inside?
Shadows Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Would one of you just go in? Geez! *runs in the building recklessly, dragging Brakes along by the hand*
Sandy Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 I sure am glad us Mystery Maidens don't ever get hurt by anything. But this shack intrigues me, I'll follow Brakes and Greaseman in. Then I'd like to look around for what I can see.
Dragonator Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Would one of you just go in? Geez! *runs in the building recklessly, dragging Brakes along by the hand* Wait for me! It's getting dark out here... *rushes after them*
