The Who Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Hey! What has the communist manifesto ever done to you? Now that I think about it...Nothing. I just like to own stuff, and keep the government's nose out of my business. Quote
Shine Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 1--Being in Homosexual's houses. Seriously, not prejudice, they just freak me out.How exactly is that not prejudiced?Anyway, the thought of waisting my life is the only major fear I have. I suppose harm coming to those I care about would be second, but it's a distant second. Quote
Commander Flash Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Overall paranoia. Noise= total freak out. Especially when I'm home alone and I hear loud noises upstairs... Quote
Stealth Hunter Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 I'd like to add something to my list: -Modern houses with huge windows, I can't help but feel watched in there. Quote
insertnamehere Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 My biggest fear is something that has never happened and I hope never will--being alone with a barber. I've been alone and I have been with a barber before but the combination of the two sends ants crawling up my spine Quote
The Who Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 How exactly is that not prejudiced?Because I am fine with the people, it's just the houses that I don't like.Make sense? Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Because I am fine with the people, it's just the houses that I don't like.Make sense? No, it's still prejudiced Another fear for me is meat pies. It manifested itself after I saw "Sweeney Todd: The Demon barber of fleet-street" Quote
The Who Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 No, it's still prejudiced Not really, as I don't think you can be 'prejudice' against houses. And I'm also afraid of breaking my legs in a deserted town or something. Quote
cole Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 What scares me is the thought that I can do somthing. Like I'm not afraid of hights, but when I'm up there I think "Wow, I could jump of this if I wanted to." and that scares me, or anything like that, I just gotta put it out of my mind and I'm fine. Quote
HumanPackMule Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 Not really, as I don't think you can be 'prejudice' against houses. Do you think you could just move on and forget about it? I don't want this thread to get locked. Quote
nintha Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 (edited) I know this is dumb but I'm afraid of saying something wrong and rejection. Edited January 15, 2010 by nintha Quote

You know, me too. I mean it's like having suicide thoughts, and it's scary. Especially when I went up on the Stratosphere in Las Vegas, that was really scary. Quote

I'm totally with you on that one. You're diving down the highway at 120+ KPH and you think to yourself: "You know I could just spin the wheel wildy to the left and pull the handbrake". Then you grab the wheel as tightly as a 90-year old grandmother and say to yourself: "WHAT WAS I THINKING!" This also happens at train platforms and appartment building balconies. I can't say I could ever do any of those things, but thinking it is possible scares me. Quote
JimBee Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Th Unknown. I.E. Deep water, dark spaces. Strange, Eh? Nope, me too. I'm always nervous when swimming in anything but a pool, and I scare when I'm alone in my house at night sometimes. I also hate flying over water. What scares me is the thought that I can do somthing. Like I'm not afraid of hights, but when I'm up there I think "Wow, I could jump of this if I wanted to." and that scares me, or anything like that, I just gotta put it out of my mind and I'm fine. I have that same feeling. I hike a lot, and when I reach the top of a mountain or cliff, I stare down off of the height and feel like I'm going to jump just for the thrill. Another thing I'm afraid of is machines. I know it might seem crazy, but I am. I had this dream a long time ago (ten years, maybe?) where the meter (measures heat and stuff) on the side of my old house was talking to me. That's all I remember, but it still creeps me out. This also ties in with robots who have a mind of their own and vehicles with no drivers. Quote

Eskallon Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 Im afraid of people who beleive that, this is like the 5th time the world was supposed to end, just sounds about as likely as me chosing MegaBlocks over LEGO I really believe that is true. The mayan calender says it all. Anyway I am scared of a few things. 1. Spiders, aaaaargh they are reaaly freaky, I can't remove one myself. Once I saw a spider on my lego collection and I got someone else to get rid of the spider then chucked the bricks he went on in the bin. 2.Being banned from EB Quote
Rick Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 2.Being banned from EB You shouldn't be afraid of things that are fully within your control. Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 I must say i'm afraid of Barack Hussein Obama, and all of the Liberals, and Socialists. I find that very offensive Since I'm socialist Quote

HumanPackMule Posted July 31, 2009 Author Posted July 31, 2009 I am now currently afraid of surgery. I found out my wisdom teeth are coming in, and I'll probably have to go through surgery to get rid of them Quote
-JD- Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 I am now currently afraid of surgery. I found out my wisdom teeth are coming in, and I'll probably have to go through surgery to get rid of them I have three teeth missing and no wisdom teeth. The three teeth missing have never been there, hence the new braces I'm wearing to sort the gaps at the back out. It really freaks me out knowing three teeth are missing! And, so far, nobody has said the Dentists. Quote
FireHawk302 Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Chicatas. Or however you spell it. They're just so creepy looking. Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 I'm afraid of: Deep dark caves (122m deep, in France. It was cold and wet there, but still amazing.) Cave diving (I jumped in a black hole, I guess it was about 20m deep. The water went from blue to black. I was afraid getting stuck somewhere.) Heights (it becomes scary when I'm above 5/6 meters, don't know why.) Spiders (when I was young a spider was hanging above me when I woke up, now I'm scared of large black hairy spiders in my house.) Fire (imagine when you're sleeping and your house is going down to ashes because the alarm didn't work...) Break-ins (how horrible would it be when somebody steals your entire LEGO collection?) Murder and violence (nobody will touch my family and friends!) High voltage (shocking death reason.) Cleaning my room (means to resort the used LEGO bricks which are everywhere.) Greatest fear: Losing everything I have! My friends, family, girlfriend, house, LEGO, money, job and much more. Quote
JCC1004 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 (edited) I almost got hit by a car as a kid and I still rember what the guy even looks like. I still cannot cross the road with lots of traffic. That's the closest near death experience I've had. My home as a child had a thing glass door and crappy locks, scared to death. Before my dad moved in it was broken into. They came in through one of those small basement windows and they put in big cubes in their place. Little humor: I'm scared to death of this BL page!:Link, I assure you this is a Bricklink link. Bricklink link? Edited August 15, 2009 by JCC1004 Quote
Captain Blackmoor Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Whoa! What was that?!? I doubt if that is LEGO. I'm sure nobody dares to break in at my room, there are several dangerous things in there. Quote
