Cyclone Titan Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 (edited) Walter Cronkite, one of America's favorite anchormen is dead. He died of an illness (I don't know what illness, though). I am rather sad seeing as I watched some footage of him from the early years, and he was great and unbiased. On another note- It seems this Summer isn't about joy, but rather, death. RIP Walter CT Edited July 18, 2009 by Cyclone Titan Quote
Luke McAwesome Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Hrm, maybe this should be in Culture and Multimedia? Anyway, I've never heard of him. Anyway, may he rest in peace. Quote

The death topics seemed to go in community, soooo.... However, Mods, if this is better suited in Culture and Multimedia, feel free to move it. CT Quote

DON'T SAY THAT! I'm just praying everyday that we don't lose Harrison Ford. Anyway, I wish I could have known who this guy was better, so I could have mourned his death more. Quote

blueandwhite Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 It's a shame that a thread started out wishing condolances to one of the most notable American voices of the 20th century ends up being a joke about the Family Guy. R.I.P Walter. Quote
