I voted for city. I'm not sure that SW should even be a choice... Some guys will just tick SW cause they're SW fans without even looking at the other themes *wacko*

Well if they want it, they got it.. It should be here :)

But think first he he

Well I voted for Star Wars because if any theme defined LEGO in 2005 it was the onslaught of new SW sets for Revenge of the Sith...

HOWEVER...

Pinning down the straight-up best theme is harder. Bionicle and City made outstanding strides in innovation this year and the Dino Attack/2010 sets are a magnificent blend of modern military design and prehistoric fun...but the best sets hands-down were the Vikings...here's to hoping the Vikings are with us as a distinct theme for a long time to come! *viki*

Vikings, although HP was very good too. KK2 made a good progression to the right side, but the Vikings still beat them!! *viki* :-D

voted for city

1) great designs of sets in all price categories

2) they're the basis for lego's success this year

3) price/quality is very high, at least no weird one piece creatures or knights in afwul colors, and unlike vikings, it has more to offer than playability

I totaly second that ! I also think 2006 will definitly be the city's year if they finally release the new train system :-D

Wrong ;) !!!!

I am a true SW fan, at least a true and faithfull OT fan !!! '05 was fatastic for ROTS sets but I much prefer OT sets !!!! Apart from the Crawler this year, SW OT sets were not fantastic compared to other themes as Vikings and City !!!!!! (next year poll will be tough though !!!!)

Btw, Tks TT for putting for SW the ugliest set ever :D :P

So I haven't voted yet, can't decide for the novelty of Vikings, or the revival of City *wacko*

This was a hard decesion to make :/ i love the vikings but still had to go with SW as i loved all the new sets and i finally got a sandcrawler which is something that ive always wanted.

Lol... noone voted Bionicle.

That should be different next year though... they're sweet.

Had to go with Vikings.

Love the new parts (finally! WINGS!).

The sets themselves were primarily just pleasing to the eye.

I like that it mildly treaded into the Harry Potter theme in some ways, but could be more free (and better looking) due to not being restrained by existing parameters of characters from a license.

I'm talkin' dragons lol.

Also nice is more of their budget could be aimed at quality sets instead of taking super-retarded shortcuts because they had to cough up licensing fees.
