Anyway, I guess we should quit talking about the end of everything and think more about what this topic really is about; if you've ever heard something that changed your opinion on things.

I hate to admit it, but time travel probably isn't possible. How do I know this? It's simple; we're still around. If time travel was possible then some idiot from the future would have gone back and done something stupid like helping the T-Rex survive and history would have been changed. Even the idea of you-can-go-back-but-you-can't-change-anything makes no sense as they'd be some proof of it by now. For example when John Lennon was shot there would have been thousands of people hanging around waiting for it to happen...

Your theory doesn't make sense. Cause the only person that would know that the time space continuum was changed would be the person that changed it. For everyone else, time would change at the exact point said person went back and changed time. Making them completely unaware of any changed events. Heck, we could be living in an altered universe right now and would never know that someone came back in time and changed history.

Why? You started this thread, and the discussion of the end of the world. Why can't others continue with there opinions on the subject just cause it isn't what you want to hear?

Hear hear, though mind you, as much as I would love time travel to be real, I don't believe its possible, atleast for humans, what with time paradoxes and all.

As for the end of the world, I've always though it should become a post-apoc setting, let the moon crash into Earth!

Agreed. Time travel is, at the moment, nothing but something you see in the movies. Although while it may not be possible, i do appreciate the common agreements among science and historians that changing something in the past, no matter how mi-nute,could drastically affect the future as were used to. I've always found that interesting. The whole... "What if?.." debate.

I hope something as terrible doesn't happen to owr world as what happened to ottoborgs world his planets gravity was turned off and the planet fell apart and the residents where eaten by victoids.

I cannot imagine things much worse than that!

The game I was quoting was dreamworks first video game called the neverhood And I mis-typed so yes it is good that I want our gravity to stay on! And have you ever met a victoid? They'd do much worse stuff than that!
