Maybe Derpy's a good luck charm? (although she was in Hearth's Warming Eve as well, and that episode was 'meh' at best.)

I think she might have appeared too early in that episode.

Between Prime and that thing with the horses, the Hub has a good thing going for itself.

Not to mention the reruns of B:TAS! And yes, I look forward to it too, even though it's weird with Optimus on the Decepticons' side now.

I am also looking forward to those Ultimate Spiderman and Tron cartoons coming this year which Peppermint was talking about. If anything, the animation of those look great!

But of course I'm most excited about Legend of Kora, which I really hope will start this year! :cry_happy: Hopefully we'll get some news about that at Comic Con!

If they don't have Knock Out give him a black and teal paint job at some point, I'm going to be very upset.

And they'll definitely have something about Korra come Comic Con. It's just a matter of time.

Just a matter of time...

Wait, the Hub has B:TAS? :oh: I can't believe I didn't notice that before! Methinks my mind has been on ponies for a bit too long.

I really liked the newest MLP episode! I rate it a 9/10!

The only thing I disliked about the episode was that it messed up some continuity. But like Rarity said, "some babies have power surges."

Eeyup. They also have Batman Beyond and even the Adam West Batman. GOSH, that show is terrible! It's so cheesy it hurts!

Speaking of the HUB's other shows, anyone watching Dan VS.? It's not a great show, but funny enough to watch when nothing else is on.

No,

This. But let's not spam up this thread with Best Pony debates. It's already more about MLP than anything else.

From what I've seen, Dan VS. looks like a good show. I just wish I had the Hub, because I could only find short clips of it online.

Yeah, it's odd that the HUB cracks down on banning online episodes of all their shows and yet allows HD episodes of MLP to stay on YouTube.

I'll have to agree with you there. I started watching some Adam West Batman a few weeks ago, but I couldn't get past part 2 of the pilot because the show is just too cheesy! :snicker:

This. But let's not spam up this thread with Best Pony debates. It's already more about MLP than anything else.

I think you're probably right, those Best Pony debates do turn into spamfests after a while. :laugh:But elegance and fabulocity still trumps cuteness any day :P.

It might be because of the huge fanbase FiM has. I doubt there are very many big fans of Dan Vs.

I'm starting to get hooked on the MLP song 'Find a Pet'! When it was first released, I just dismissed it as decent, but now I love it!

That is true. And yes, Marceline is indeed awesome.

Truer words have probably been spoken, but i can't be bothered finding them right now so this'll do.

I know; it's just the feeling that I get from it since it is set in a very similar world with adventures and rainbows and unicorns and cupcakes and such.

That's true, but RS is immature in a college student kind of way, unlike AT which just feels like a silly kids cartoon to me. I dunno, maybe it's just me.

Fair enough, different srokes for different people. I would argue it sounds simply more like Adventure Time is not your sort of entertainment, as silliness is not necessarily a bad quality, and similar qualities such as rainbows, cupcakes etcetera are merely superficial differences, like claiming Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West is a rip off of a john Wayne film because they're both about cowboys, despite the enormous stylistic and thematic differences between them.

Hey! No one insults Adam West Batman! its the reason DC still exists as a large entity! Also it was awesome.

Did a watchthrough of Invader Zim a while back. love gthe show, though the repulsive nature of the world got a bit much for even me at times. Definitely sad it was cancelled though.

Invader Zim was my favourite cartoon for a long time. I love Jhonen Vasquez's artistic style, it's so twisted. I think 'edgy' is a good adjective for it actually. And the black comedy that he uses, love it.

Oh dear, that 'Find a Pet' song! I've been singing it under my breath almost constantly for the last two months.

You've got to love Invader Zim. I used to bust a gut almost every time Gir spoke one of his lines.

And yes, it really is a shame it got canceled.

Finally watched Baby Cakes. It was cute!

Indeed it was! It was also nice to get some more of Mr. and Mrs. Cake and Nurse Redheart!

Can't help but love it. Anyone love Pinkie Pie's song that made that made the babie cry? I'll admit, this is one of my favorites from Season 2.

Anyone else think that this show needs a separate thread? One vote from me...

Well, it is only a half-hour show.

The Piggy Song? I thought it was okay. It was definitely better than Happy Monthiversary, for whatever that's worth. My main problem with Pinkie's songs is that they're all only around ~15-30 seconds long. Especially with amazing ones like Evil Enchantress and Cupcakes. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait for Eurobeat Brony to remix the two from this episode into 2-4 minute songs!

It had one back in June(ish?), but it was locked because of the excessive spam posts. It's a few pages back here in Culture and Multimedia.

The youtube series 'Teens React' episode on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was interesting. Pretty much sums up the different takes on the show, regardless of age.

In other news, I've been catching up on Adventure Time! Man, I love that show. It's truly matched to my humour, I find myself laughing at it much more than any other show.

Really? A lot of times I find Adventure Time a little or a lot too childish for my tastes....... I'm mainly watching Danny Phantom or Ben 10 (The first series) now.

IMHO, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is the best TV show for children, and adults, and entire families. The morals, and lessons it gives are just outstanding for a little kids show.

Also, not to mention, the animation is amazing, and the voice actors are perfect! (As are the singers)

Overall, it is a great TV show, with great animation, actors, and morals. default_classic.gif

Man, I have been watching Redline. This is one awesome anime film, so cool.

Ok, so now it has just finished.

Goodness, this was the most epic thing I have ever watched. Stylish animation by Madhouse, a great soundtrack that fits the theme to a T, a setting and plot that has to be seen to be belived and an effortless combination of action and plot.

Homestar, Flapjack, OLD Spongebob, Wallace and Gromit, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Gumball, Phineas and Ferb and Chowder, Family Guy, Simpsons and Futurama to name mostly some prominent ones. I hope to be an animator.
