sam89 Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 The Production Diaries on the DVD were released on the internet first. The one that mentions the sequel was released on April 1st ;) Quote
Khorne Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 I saw the original King Kong movie in white/grey once (kinda funny), but I hated the story, so I'll probably won't go to see this one, I would rather want to see Narnia. Quote
crispen Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 this is not on DVD. it is a kit with a hardback book. Quote
Khorne Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Doesn't King Kong get killed? If so, it would be hard to make a part 2 :-D . Quote
sam89 Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 The sequel was going to be called "Son of Kong", and the second sequel was going to be called "Into the Wolf's Lair" :-D But there aren't going to be sequels ;) this is not on DVD. it is a kit with a hardback book. What is this book? Are you sure it's not Peter Jackson's Production Diaries? Quote

ApophisV Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 WHERE THE F##K WAS PETER JACKSON WHEN THERE WAS AN AMERICAN GODZILLA MOVIE TO BE MADE?!?!?! In New Zealand... :| So let's summarize: The Japanese Godzilla movies were "trash", but nontheless great fun, the american one was real junk and surely NO fun to see, so maybe we WILL see another version made in a completely other part of the world ;) But let's talk about this movie: I saw it and I was completely happy with it! It was the first one since some month where I sat into the chair till he last names and credits disappeared and even the music stopped! I don't want to repeat what all the others said, so I only will tell you of two points that doesn't seem to be completely clear to me: - The story around Jimmy got no solution, telling us that there is a mystery about this boy is nice, but not giving anymore infos about him is silly... - Also the mystery of the ship and it's captain (and the choloform) seems to be much bigger than it is afterwards... I agree with you!!! I loved the scene on the frozen lake, where Kong and Ann were sliding. That was kind of very romantic "the big monster and the girl" *wub* I think it was faszinating how Jackson shows us this big monster with his cute site and love for the woman! About the special effects there is only ONE thing to say: BIG, BIGGER, JACKSON!!!!! Really great movie!!! Quote
