Shadows Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 You're more likely to scare away women (from LEGO and EB) with that attitude.... I don't know, there was that Harry Potter battery powered broom that seemed immense popular for a while. Or is that an urban legend? Quote
Karto Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 If you were a designer and suggested that to your boss, you'd get fired (no offence) Well I'm an engineer and I already suggested my boss to use one... because he seemed a little frustrated at the time. I didn't get fired though Sorry if I offended some people, this was not my intention Quote
Karto Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 More seriously, I would probably try to make some more interesting town sets. Not the 49th Police Headquarters or Fire Station. I guess a supermarket, office buildings, etc. Quote
Rijkvv Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 An improved (maybe PF controlled) version of my Tyrrell P34. If it was possible without a license. I don't like licenses. Some ideas: -Ferrari 288 GTO -Ferrari F40 (if there is a license already, then take the full advantage of it) -a minifig-scale Greek trireme -a crusaders castle, with templar knights and teutonic knights, without fantasy For the rest mainly town vehicles and buildings. Like the current, but only better. I also have a list of possible military sets, but they will never be released. Quote
Hinckley Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Sorry if I offended some people, this was not my intention Yes, thank you. We're only getting a report from every kid who reads it. Pleas try to use better judgment in the future. I'll edit your post for you. Thanks. But, how great you could say that to your boss and not get fired. Quote
Emperor Claudius Rome Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 I don't know, there was that Harry Potter battery powered broom that seemed immense popular for a while. Or is that an urban legend? Oh no, it was real. Here's a link to it's review: I woud make a big exclusive Lego roman coliuseum complet with gladiators, Praetorian Gaurdsmen, the emporer, lions, and spectaters Quote
allanp Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 I would love to work on the technic line creating all sorts of things like a totally new supercar, sea king rescue helicopter, monster truck, forklift truck, etc. But My dream is a 2500-3000 peice UCS backhoe like the 8455, but at least twice the size. It would include: An xl motor (with less gearing down for a higher output speed) Inline 4 engine Motor driven air compressor with airtank Motor driven 4 wheel drive and gearbox pneumatic steering and pendular front suspention Longer pneumatics Rear arm would have all the usual functions plus a pneumatically powered telescopic boom and lateral (side to side) sliding movement Stableizers Front bucket would have all the usual functions plus pneumatically powered opening/closing feature Basically the real thing, just smaller. If I was to create a new theme then maybe something like Rollercoaster tycoon (like coasterdynamix but better, cheaper and more detailed with add-on's such as stations, kiosks, shops, gentle rides, thrill rides, etc) Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Edit by Hinckley: Potentially offensive comment. Please read at your innocence's own risk. I would make a huge Lego dildo (with Power Functions), just to get some more women at the Lego shelves. And stop reporting it please! Quote
Shadows Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 And stop reporting it please! Yeah, seriously. Reporting it makes you look like you're a 12yr old who just saw something naughty and has to go tattle about it. Honestly, it's as bad as the whole inappropriate banner ads thread. Grow up, people. If you didn't know the 'naughty' word, you wouldn't be offended by it, so it isn't like you haven't seen it before. Quote
Eskallon Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Well I would have to say twenty but I wont I will say 3 , 2 unrealistic ones and 1 realistic one. The first is a minas tirith scaled down to minifig size with a huge army of orcs outside and many many gondorian soldiers (If at the time I feel greedy I would add the army of rohirrim on horses) Number two is a helms deep with another army outside and one inside plus the glittering caves and lots of details. Number three is the more realistic one and it is a library withloads or prited books and other parts. Quote
hewkii9 Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 UCS Scale Siege of Acre Big wall with a catapult, with 2 houses [cleverly build as to resemble more, though] behind and a dock w/Sea Serpent-sized ship docked there. And Saladin, King Richard the Lionheart, 2 Acre citizens, 3 Saracens, 2 crusaders and 1 Templar. All on plates [changing colors - trans-blue for the water, burnt orange and bley for the streets, and dark brown and green for outside], too, so that it looks better and is slightly more swooshable. Well, he did mention he is an engineer (and I am training to be one) and poured Concrete needs agitation with a vibrating device. But then that might not have been the context in which Kanto suggested such a device... Oh, and for set designs I would love to design a town Library for Market street. Quote

It would also improve lego's image by a small degree Quote
Peppermint_M Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 A library would be epic. It would also improve lego's image by a small degree I want to build one based on Pontypool Library, my local Library, a lovely Victorian building next to the park. Quote
