You buy sets now even though you know they will be cheaper if you wait a while.

You buy sets because they are cheap even though you never had any real interest in them.

You buy a set because you think you might use the parts later (and then never do of course)

You buy a set to get a few parts even though you could just buy the parts on Bricklink for cheaper (as was the case with my recent purchase of the truck garage)

Whenever you go shopping in general and end up converting all prices into how many bricks that would equal.

"You know you're a fan of LEGO when..."

You actually find yourself debating the following question:

"Lego or kids college fund?"

I claim credit to this one and so can you danny.

... you burp in capitalized letters :D

Hehehe!

You might be a fan of lego if you visit a mine hoping to see lime green machinery.

... if your life's ambition is to get more posts than jipay.

You know you are a fan of LEGO when you visualize how you would build things you see in your everyday life out of LEGO throughout the day.

You find a new place to live and decide that rather than using it for your bed, the largest bedroom will be for your LEGO. (You should see the room I'll be using as my new LEGO room. 25 square meters baby!)

There a small part of the fingernail on your thumb missing because you use the thumb to pry apart bricks.

(I have this and noticed the same on the finger of a LEGO-building friend of mine)

Cheers,

When you sleep next to your Lego.

I have been known to have MOCs sitting there next to me on my bedside table just so I can stare at them as I go to sleep (and think of ideas to make them better)

...when you go through one hundred search links to prove how much you know about Lego to someone else and find out what STAMP, SNIR, BURP, and LURP mean.

I don't know what those mean :cry_sad:

I just came out of the closet

... When you get divorced and let you're ex-wife have the kids so you can play with LEGO without being nagged.

Hi

When you have a 20'x20' shed built specifically for Lego.

When you have enough Lego to fill a 20'x20' shed.

When you have dozens of books with sketches and lists of ideas that TLC should make.

When you deeply regret passing down your Lego collection to your younger brother. :cry_sad:

When if you had to choose between Lego and your games console you choose Lego.

......... When if you had to choose between Lego and your games console you choose Lego.

When you don't have a games console because you spent all the money on LEGO :-)

(that's true for me!)

Lol

Here's a few more

When after buying impulse sets and minifigs you build them in your car because you can't wait to get back home. (not when driving)

When you change into your everyday wear instead of your PJs because you were thinking of Lego.

I don't know what those mean :cry_sad:

I just came out of the closet

Lol I had forgotten what those meant, poor ugly rock pieces.

Here's another,

When you accidently go over the speed limit because you were thinking about Lego, luckily I haven't been caught yet.

When you try to convince relatives to drive 4-5 hours to visit Lego stores for you.

When you store your books in your closet and your sets on your shelves.

When you spend hours calculating where you can fit your latest acquisition.

When after spending hours, you fail to find any space at all  .

When the value of your lego collection exceeds the value of the house it is located in (not quite there yet  )
