Voodoo Hand Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 (edited) Can you further clarify, I looked through the second manual for the fort, and all I found for a Redcoat Ship was the darkened ship behind the island for the background/concept art of Brickbeard's Bounty. though i was pretty clear, but ow well: look carefully to the image of set 6242, you will notice a fortress in the background. Knowing LEGO, this may be a hint of what is about to come. So that is why I am waiting for that. I have a feeling this new fortress will be released somewhere in 2010, but also that it is modular just like set 6242 is. So you should be able to link them together when you have boughed both. Picture of fortress The other thing, is I noticed a ship in the back ground of the new ship (set 6243) picture of ship This could mean that there will be a new ship released in 2010 as well, most likely a red coat ship with 2 sails. This ship looks way different then the pirate ship as well, so hard to believe it is the same. (both are better visible here) Euhm... during my search for pictures to clerify i accidentely found some interresting pictures! Ill post on my brickshelf as soon as i can, trying to find more! EDIT: I added the latest 2010 pics that I just found to my bricklink page. click me to see! Edited July 28, 2009 by Voodoo Hand Quote

WastedGrunt36 Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 though i was pretty clear, but ow well:look carefully to the image of set 6242, you will notice a fortress in the background. I know about the fort, I was talking about the ship in the background. Your new post didn't help clarify at all, because I was trying to say that a darkened ship tells nothing about whether it's Redcoat or if it's a sign that a new ship will be sold soon. So naturally, I assumed that you were talking about something else, because I don't know why you think that it means anything ( Not trying to be mean). Quote

Actually this isnt that new either, LEGO did this already with Starwars LEGO in some form and the Castle theme Quote

Rick Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I don't know, it is available in The Netherlands, although quite expensive at €31,75.... Amazon.de has it as well for around €16/€17. They deliver books for free, also to The Netherlands. Quote
simonwillems Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Amazon.de has it as well for around €16/€17. They deliver books for free, also to The Netherlands. That is a more appealing price. Thanks! I spotted the set recently here in Amsterdam at Waterstones and was somewhat shocked by the pricetag... Quote
