I have a few of those Dinosaur sets - bought them for around half a dollar each. Can't say that I really miss the Dinosaurs. I my opinion the set designs were bad and without any idea. The Dinosaurs are extinct - so is LEGO's version ;)

Agreed. They were most horribly executed. Those goofyass faces some of them had may as well have been sculpted after Dino from the Flintstones.

Their bodies were pretty unuseful as well, utilizing the 3-piece mosasaurus body from Alpha Team.

And the 1-piece pairs of legs you just snapped on. >__<

To their credit, they gave one a source of dinosaur tails. Maybe those dinosaur arms too.

... ... ...and THAT'S ABOUT IT.

There was no "building" taking place in any of them. I understand marketing to smaller kids & such, but passing these off as system sets instead of going all the way over to Duplo was just an exercise in embarrassment.

(Didn't mind grabbing the canisters when they hit the $2 clearance mark though... )

I like dinosaurs but these were not the greatest. They were kind of ugly and usless. However my brother loves them and their tales are the best.

i only just came to like the dinosaurs. i find it useful that they came with extra pieces so i can make mutants and have my sith lords ride on them. other wise they were useless

But with the new dinosaur creator sets, this'll be hard...I think I can make a therizinosaurus out of the triceratops set, lol.

But I just love the dinosaurs too much, those cute @$$ faces just...I just feel like huging them, lol...if my bf found out i was saying this, she'd slap me, but who cares! dinosaurs are worth more!
