At this point I don't think enough people will flip to vote off Shawn, but it could very well be enough to keep us from getting any conviction at all, and I feel it's important we learn something today, even if it was just Shawn misleading us.

You know, Shawn's story can't be true, because he said he found the letter in Jerry's house, and would require him to be the investigator, which he isn't, because he couldn't have searched his own house, as Father Walters claimed the investigator contacted him and told him the information about the letter, gun, and money. But if Father Walters was Scum, and Shawn innocent, then Shawn would have simply denied the existence of the letter, money, and gun, not claimed he found if at Jerry's house.

You'll all be making a big mistake if you don't change your votes. Please, I want to help the town, not destroy it. I swear on my own life that Shawn is scum. If you kill him off today, you'll have one less piece of scum in this town. If you vote me off, you'll see that Shawn has tricked you yet again, and we'll all be one step closer to defeat.

Look, I'm still unsure of you being scum, but you make it seem that way. Maybe Henry was right of accusing you after all. And I'm not trying to bring anyone down with me. Shawn is scum, and I can't believe that some of you are denying that. We heard it right from Father Waters that the good investigator confirmed that Shawn was scum. The money, the gun, the letter... how does that make me scum? Just because Shawn says so? You are all making a huge mistake by voting me off. I don't see why my opinion in particular should be so very interesting, but here goes: Currently the result of today is that Jerry will be condemned. Whether or not he's innocent isn't really interesting, but it looks like we are going to learn a lot from his death, which has the following possible outcomes: a) Jerry is scum - hooray, we got one, and can go on with those who so eagerly supported him b) Jerry is innocent - okay, it sucked, but then we can kill Shawn and probably Sal too. So the way I see it maintaining the status quo votewise is how we'll learn the most. (yes, we could perhaps learn the same things by first killing Shawn, but at the moment I trust Shawn a tiny bit more than Jerry) And therefore I'm not going to change my vote, dixi.

I got a potato msg from someone wanting to rally against Shawn, but it just seems like a way for the scum to get rid of one of the most important players in this investigation. There can be more than one investigator. I don't stay up late at night so I'm not sure what goes on, but I find it highly likely that there is more than one investigator. There may even be more than 2 investigators and a peeping tom (every town has one of the pervs). There may also be someone claiming to be an investigator who is not. Everyone has the same chances of being townie or scum no matter what evidence has been presented to you. Unless it has come from the higher authority himself, you do not know it to be true. Let's kill Jerry and see what we find out from his death. Shawn may be scum even if Jerry is scum. I might be scum if my husband is a townie. I might be a townie if my husband is scum. The only real lead we have to go on is the information that Shawn has given us. I would advise the other investigator to step up to the damn plate and own their information and stop manipulating people through potato messages. Lay your cards out on the table if you have proof that someone is scum. That is what Shawn did and I am behind him until I know otherwise!

That's a nice gesture, but it doesn't work that way. If you are innocent, the scum know that, and could very easily be backing you to make themselves look good, assuming you would die anyway.
