JopieK Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 While unloading coal from this 6-wide tan SCANIA R-class truck, one worker wasseriously injured......(....e.g broken ABS...) Pls let me have your comments. and...yes...he is slowly recovering....... Nice MOC, truck is not too large. I like the 1 x 4 curved slope solution. How did you do that with the hat, photoshop I suppose?! Quote
Rick Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Nice truck, but your pictures may also be a bit 'strong' (i.e., large, I think you should resize them before posting). Quote
Milan Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 I love that truck, great shape, and proportions! What was he doing behind the truck when coal was unloaded? Quote
Sandy Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 From the title, I was expecting to see the truck in flames, with many smaller cars crushed in its path and dead and injured minifigs everywhere. Boy, what an anticlimax! My catastrophe movie fetish aside, it's a nice truck, nevertheless. Quote
BlueBard Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Nice truck! The front part is really simple but effective BTW, as JipieK says, in the second picture, how you did the hat fly? Photoshop? Quote
Val42 Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Nice MOC, the front is indeed very simple and beautiful, and the back is superb! Quote
Selander Posted August 2, 2009 Author Posted August 2, 2009 Nice truck! The front part is really simple but effective BTW, as JipieK says, in the second picture, how you did the hat fly? Photoshop? I used a transparent, Lego item no 42445 to position the hat over the head, that way shading and colours get natural. As you suspected, after that it was easy to clone the near background in photoshop, to make the holder disappear.... Quote
