August 6, 200915 yr I think that Ackbar's head looking darker is the result of the photographer's, camera's, or other object's shadow, or a change or lack of lighting. I agree, since people who have the set are reporting that the heads are the same. Btw, his name is Ackbar, not Ackabar!
August 6, 200915 yr I'm not exactly sure why we're still analyzing the pictures when Svelte actually owns the set and says they're identical. That's all the proof I need. Star Wars fans love nothing more to debate the finer points of this kind of esoterica, even when clear evidence exists to settle the matter one way or another! If you check out CopMike's original review right here on EB, you can see how the figures seem to appear different under varying lighting environments.
August 6, 200915 yr I was watching legoboy12345678's review of the home one of youtube last night (sorry dont have a link) and he was talking how they were so strong so he gets the mon calamari head and hits it with a mallet. Im not sure how hard he did hit it but it withstood the force. I think thats some fine manufacturing lego!
October 1, 200915 yr I agree, since people who have the set are reporting that the heads are the same.Btw, his name is Ackbar, not Ackabar! I have them, and there the same You just had to revive this topic to say what's already been said several times?
October 1, 200915 yr I own the set, and the heads are identical in printing and colour. The manuals also list the heads in the inventory as 2x part 4550782, NOT as separate pieces. This should be the end of this discussion. You can't argue with the facts.
