David85 Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 This is the American version of course, but I'm sure the European one will be about the same, except for one thing, you have the Pirates!!! Don't ever complain about the US getting things first, you guys have gotten a ton of stuff first this year and hell by the looks of it you get the Pirates sets a full year ahead of the US, if we get them at all. I'm hoping they are redoing the sets for an American release with real figures... one can hope. Here's the link to the USA one, not sure if it will work, or if it will be anything like your guy's. http://shop.lego.com/catalog/onlinecatalog.asp?c=8 We also get a free set, the Lego Truck which is normally $15 now, last time it was $10. Where was my free set last year? I could have gotten even more Legos for Christmas, I don'thave to pay for shipping anyways. Nothing really new in it, no new train, no airport set, and the free set thing only goes to Oct 11, it normally went to November 30, so maybe the next catalog goess out about Oct. 20th with the new train and airport, which would suck because I want the airport and the free set. ApophisV Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 i just ordered mine, like it more to read it as paper ware... ;) but whats that free set thing? never heard about it.... Quote
David85 Posted September 1, 2004 Author Posted September 1, 2004 I really don't understand Europe, you have to order the catalog? I get it sent in the mail, it's like those cheap magazines they send. The free set thing must only be in America. If you order by Thanksgiving, November 30thish, you would get a free set, this year it's October 11th. One year it was the McDonalds, another it was the spy plane, then once it was a T-shirt, then the last couble years it was free shipping which sucked because I don't have to pay for it anyways as the sets were gifts so I could have gotten like 3 free sets, but no just free shipping that was free to me anyways. Well I'm from Europe and I get the catalogue sent to me. I think you only get put on the mailing list if you've ordered things from S@H though, and I don't think Apo orders from S@H. Is that right, Apo? Quote
Jipay Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 The special catalogs are sent to me. Like the one for christmas. But not the rest. And I get half of the free magasines, but it's good since some people don't have any (like DoubleT, not to mention Denmark) Quote
ApophisV Posted September 1, 2004 Posted September 1, 2004 erm... nope, i haven't ordered there yet.... to expensive.... Quote
David85 Posted September 1, 2004 Author Posted September 1, 2004 Oh yeah I forgot your Legos in Europe are a bigger ripoff than here, and I don't buy them for full price anymore. When you "order" it do you need to pay for it to be sent? Quote
Jipay Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 :crying: yes... 6 euros (approx 7 dollars) for slow shipping... Quote
David85 Posted September 2, 2004 Author Posted September 2, 2004 Wow you people really get screwed over there! Set's that are a lot in England, and you have to buy for the catalog, come to America, we need more smart people in the future so that people like Bush and Kerry don't run. Quote
