Mole Pod (G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra)

(I'd consider G.I. Joe sci-fi, wouldn't you? The original line might not be, but trust me, the new film is)

As some of you might have seen on flickr, I saw G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra last night at the charity premiere. On display was the original Mole Pod from the film - just an awesome prop, with a spinning drill. I hung around it during the premiere party and got a really good look at it, so this MOC is very accurate.

Great job Nabroj! Looks great, but the minifig seat is a little.....unconventional.

Nice, looks like the real thing. Figs are nice but didn't Barress have glasses? I liked Gi-Joe as a kid but now it's way to differnet from the orginal. Are there any Cobra B.A.T.S. in the moive?

SirNadroj, I really appericate to see this MOC, after watching this movie late last night, and I am very impressed with the movie itself, and agreed that it belongs to Sci-Fi.

Nevertheless, this is a great rendition of this spinning drill, I better not comment too much on how this fast moving underground driller appear. This is a nice one, and I hope you have plans for more G.I Joe MOCs.

Of course. Where others would simply use the new PM drill/wheel piece, SirNadroj makes his own, brick-built construction out of tiles, blades, and rubber bands!

I love how you made the 6 sided shape of it and the trans black sides are a great touch.

I do wonder why you haven't used a chrome Rock Raiders drill on the front, though that might be too short?
