For those of you with a Big Lots store nearby, you might want to check their toy section for reduced price Lego. I just picked up 3 racer minisets and two creator minisets and the Penguin and Robin Batman set at a Big Lots for a total of $30, making the pricepoint 7.5 cents per element. Its always worth checking remainder stores, here in California those would be Big Lots, Ross Dress for Less, Marshall's, and Tuesday Mornings.

And this has nothing to do with LEGO General Discussion and News, so I'll just move it outta here.

I check there pretty often. Managed to find a few sets over the months. Got half of the Exo-Force line there actually. If I find these Batman sets I'll be a happy camper.

I went today to the one in Athens, GA.

Shame, they only had a bunch of the same Bionicle set from 2007, for $7.

A sale, $10MSRP, but that set sold for half price for months on S@H last summer.

So yea, it all depends on which Big Lots you go too. =/

4995 Cargo Copter - $12

8698 Vultraz - Don't recall how much

4998 Stegosaurus - $30

I have a Big Lots maybe a mile away from my house, but all they carry are a couple Bionicle sets. :cry_sad: Still, I'll check it just to make sure. Thanks for the tip.

Went to the 2 big lots near me in Phoenix Arizona, and both said they HAD had lego recently and they sell out within a Day. Sounds like a Lego Collector.

*Sigh* I was, unfortunately, right. :thumbdown:

Usually, my local Big Lots only has

Megablocks

Generic Brands.

Only Bionicle stuff.

Depends a lot on the store. Go to the South Gate store on Lakewood for the large white Creator car set among others. I picked up the Creator Variable Wing fighter Creator set (who says TLG isn't a war toy company???) and a spring motor racer there yesterday. :-}

Went to the only Big Lots around here but didn't find anything except for a Bionicle set (Mahra perhaps, is that a name of one? :tongue: ) for $7. Wasn't really banking on finding anything there so I wasn't too upset about it.
