Aliencat Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Hey hey, This a remake of an old MOC: Link That one was made two years ago so I figured Jobasha could use a new bookstore. ^ Click image to enlarge Jobasha's Odd Books is specialized in accounts on the occult and old writings about unexplainable magic and so forth. Jobasha will have the answer to anything science can't explain. ^ Click image to enlarge Meanwhile strange plans are in motion on the rooftops. Mindcorp is not involved with this. ^ Click image to enlarge Oh yay, all the floors open up, let's have a look inside ^ Click image to enlarge The ground floor of the bookstore is where Jobasha receives his new goods. Books, scripts and scrolls from all over the world, and from all eras. ^ Click image to enlarge If you have any questions that are bothering you, Jobasha's is the place to go: not only does Jobasha know a lot, his frequent customers are more than knowledgable as well. Aliencat, Mr. Hammersmith and Professor Neilsworth (from previous MOCs such as The Reality Dysfunction) are discussing one of Jobasha's more recent finds. ^ Click image to enlarge Jobasha's little apartment is above the bookstore. It's too small to fit a kitchen so he always eats next door. ^ Click image to enlarge In the Bistro's kitchen, Chef Micah is sampling some of his new creations. ^ Click image to enlarge And of course I couldn't leave out Jobasha throwing the waitor out the window, like in the old one. ^ Click image to enlarge For even more pictures, including the other floors of the Bistro, and detail views of the outside, visit the MOCpage. aawsum Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Really nice rebuild of the original. The new details give it just that bit more then it already had. The story makes it all compleet Now we have to wait and find out what is happening on that roof Quote
BlueBard Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Magnificent design and interiors as usual, aliencat! My favourite parts are, without doubt, those high detailed roofs Quote
Vaders_son Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Fantastic buildings, as your creations I have seen so far! I might have to *borrow* some of it when I start building myself Benny Quote
Shadows Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Incredible as always. Classic-Town.net 's you. Quote
Commodore Hornbricker Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Very beautiful buildings! Lot's of great detail and the colors work very well together. The only thing I couldn't see was a really big litter box Quote
Aliencat Posted August 7, 2009 Author Posted August 7, 2009 Hey thanks for the great replies :D And big thanks for blogging it, ImperialShadows! The only thing I couldn't see was a really big litter box Look behind the bookstore, just outside the big loading door Quote
Dutch Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Amazing just amazing . There is so much detail in this one moc but the part I like the best must be the roof. Theres just somthing I like about roofs I guess. Quote
Rick Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Great! When I saw it on Brickshelf, I already thought: this looks familiar... Quote
prateek Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 I saw this on BS before too, and I like it. My favourite is the bistro Quote
Tom Bricks Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 great job revisiting an old MOC. I liked the first one but the second version is even better. I too enjoy the roof and the action on top of it. Quote
