Batbrick Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Bulldog continues to walk toward the others on the bridge, until he steps on the wrong plank . A loud creak is heard, then suddenly, a number of wooden planks come crashing down. Bulldog falls into the ravine with the wood from the bridge as his yelling becomes a faint whisper...HHHHHHHHEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPpp p p . . . BUUUULLLLLLDDDDOOOOGGGG! NOOOOOOOO! Poor fella, he was a good friend for ta brief moments I knew him, when we get ta the other side, we HAVE to see if we can at least spot his body, he's done too much for our group for us not ta try and find 'im. The sides toward the beginning of the bridge are definately too treacherous for climbing down. Darn, this will make it even harder to find out friend, there's no chance a mighty Texan can't heroically dive inta the waters below and survive is there? Poor Bulldog.... Anyway, Bulldog was one of my friends! We can't just leave him. He wouldn't leave us. We have to see if he's alive or not. There has to be a way down there! Don't worry Herman, we'll find a way ta at least check on him! Maybe we could use the rope ta lower someone down cliffside to a safe distance from ta water? Excuse me folks, but I have a construction background. I don't think it would be a really good idea to begin chopping down trees and placing them on the bridge. These trees are very old and heavy. Even if we are able to move one, I don't think this bridge would support the weight. Grease's idea to return to the mill for some "ready-cut" planks might be a better idea. I'd be happy to come along. Who is with us? Great stuff, I'm all over this here plank idea. I think I will stay here however and lookout for Bulldog. Would you like ta help me try an' spot 'im Herman?
Shadows Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Wouldn't it be ironic if Bulldog landed on a Johnson rod?
WesternOutlaw Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 Grease, Max, Pete, and Charlie leave the bridge to get some planks at the mill. I'll tag along if you guys need an extra hand.
Hinckley Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Grease, Max, Pete, and Charlie leave the bridge to get some planks at the mill. I'll tag along if you guys need an extra hand. Not until you explain where your pin went. Until then perhaps we should attach you to my undies and bungee-wedgie you into the gorge to rescue Bulldog. If not, we should at least tie you to a tree, killer.
Ricecracker Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I'll tag along if you guys need an extra hand. Actually, I think we'll be Ok . Thanks though.
WesternOutlaw Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 Yes, it is interesting that someone seems to have taken my pin. Perhaps you have an impostor aboard the train, one that has my train pin, and is simply "posing" as a train worker. (looks at Max with distrust)
Svelte Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I didn't hike all this freaking way from Murder Mill just to march all the way back again! I only agreed to get off the train to do some sunbathing in Willoughby and find me a child bride pony and goddamit, that's what I'm gonna do! *strips to Euro-thong and lies down by the cliffside, sunny-side up* In my chef's notebook, I will record the frequency and duration of Bulldog's tormented screams so we know whether to bother dragging up his body if we ever do get across this impossible chasm.
Ricecracker Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 So, Gaylord, what is it about Max that worries you?

Too good! - even when he's mad. So, Gaylord, what is it about Max that worries you? Can't put my big finger on it (or a Johnson Rod for that matter), but I have a sneaky hunch that he has a collection of other peoples' train pins. Hmmm... Mmmm... Did he even show us HIS train pin? TRUST NO ONE!
JimBee Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 This is taking too long. Since David seems to think that Max stole his pin, let's ask him. Max, do you want to explain yourself? *stares at sun-bathing Schmelt*
Ricecracker Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Mmmm... Did he even show us HIS train pin? Good point! Max, show me your pin . TRUST NO ONE! Especially you!
WesternOutlaw Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 Good point! Max, show me your pin . But how would we know if he has two? Hmmm...
Ricecracker Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Full cavity search time! Any volunteers to conduct it? What say you, Schmelt? You'd love to? OK then, Scmelt can conduct a full cavity search on Max now.

OK then, Scmelt can conduct a full cavity search on Max now. *throws pair of gloves at a sunbathing schmelt* you can use those gloves for max's body search .... (may or may not be the gloves i used to check the bodies. )
Svelte Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 *throws pair of gloves at a sunbathing schmelt* you can use those gloves for max's body search ) Sure, I don't mind. *shrugs* I'm a chef and this is just like stuffing a turkey.
Hinckley Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 I could do without all of those "squish"ing noises... *Slosh*
Svelte Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 But I haven't even started the search yet... Don't mind me, I'm just applying a little cooking oil. *starts humming* At my local disco... Down in San Francisco... I lost a bottle of Crisco...
Hinckley Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 But I haven't even started the search yet... *looks around* *sniffs*
Sandy Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 What are you guys rambling on about? We found the missing train pin at the mill, why are you searching for it again? Now it's just a question of who it belongs to. Gaylord here doesn't have his, but he accuses of Max stealing it from him. So Max stole his pin and at some point ran to the mill to put it on the floor above a cellar with people who died years ago? That. Makes. No. Sense. At. ALL!

That. Makes. No. Sense. At. ALL! 100% in agreeing! I stole no-one's pins! I do however, have a piece of information that my PM inbox Bulldog told me - he was the one who sabotaged the train. He was offered a large sum of money by someone, and he badly needed it. But he fell off the bridge before I could get any more details.

WesternOutlaw Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 And you're just sharing this little pin piece of critical information now Captain Conductor Max? Something is definately fishy around here and it's not from "Stinky", "SLOSHY", or Shmelt's tuna casserole. Throw me a chicken dinner, someone... Perhaps YOU took part in sabotaging the train and brought these people to Willoughby, "pinning" it on that poor "bridge kill" Bulldog. - very strange indeed. (Throwing in a chicken bone) Interesting take Davith. Seems Max has been acting a little strange since our arrival in Willoughby.

But he fell off the bridge before I could get any more details. I think you and Gaylord are both in on it! Bulldog wouldn't do anything like that. I've known him for almost a whole week and he seemed like a real loyal stand-up guy. You and your Town Council friends got sloppy and now you're scrambling to pin it on each other. Get it? It's a pun. A pin pun. *silence* Anyway, what are you up to anyway? What was the point of stopping the train? What does the Town Council want with us now? We just want to go home. What harm could we be causing you by leaving? *thinks* Although, maybe somebody on the train was helping ... erm ... that dead lady, Kathy or whatever. Maybe she paid somebody to get the train to stop here so she could get away. Then while we were searching the town, she tried to get on the train but Gaylord George Jethro The Mayor someone shot her.

This is the part where I'm supposed to be the oblivious, arrogant character and believe that this is true, and that you're just telling us now, after I made the accusations! But I am going to be arrogant and believe you. Because I really do think that Bulldog sabotaged the train, for whatever reason. Although, maybe somebody on the train was helping ... erm ... that dead lady, Kathy or whatever. Maybe she paid somebody to get the train to stop here so she could get away. Then while we were searching the town, she tried to get on the train but Gaylord George Jethro The Mayor someone shot her. That's an interesting theory. It sounds reasonable but... we still need a Johnson rod! I just want to get out of this town and forget about the mystery before anyone else dies.
