gormadoc Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I have read an article about this set. It was part of a theme that lego were going to release called the Napoleonic theme, but lego decided never to release it because it was to similar to Pirates, yet they could have released anyway as a pirate set. muffinman42 Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 the deep-linked picture in this thread appears to be made of several idea sets, the castle, the smaller fort, and the houses and mabey some extra troops thrown in for luck. i can see TLC makeing those sorts of sets. Quote
Scouty Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 But do you really think Lego would make a set that big? I think this would have been a collective of the Napoleonic sets. A set that size is ridiculous Quote
RocketClone Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 You know i was reading The BrickJournal magazene yeasterday and i saw some M-tron-BlacktronII prototypes and M-tron almost had a bigger line with aliens and an alien rover! Quote
Piranha Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Awesome find! It looks like a french town or village Although it does have Imperial soldier figs I don't get the port city feel from it Nothing pirate related in there it looks like besides the soldiers I would love for LEGO to do something like this today with the modern pirates The closest set to it would be the Imperial Trading Post Thanks for sharing this!!
