Another 6 axle crane, with 4-axle steering, pendualar suspension and two-section telescopic boom. And yes, it really is orange ;)

I built this crane, because I'm working on a big project, and a small crane is a important part of it. It's a model of Liebherr LTM 1300 mobile crane, in minifig scale. It's in orange-grey colour scheme, because most of my red, yellow and white parts will be used in other parts of my project :)

Four axle steering:

Pendular suspension on all axles:

Extending the outriggers and raising the boom:

That's really good. Same feel as a System set, but too good. The SNOT techniques are very clever, also the use of hands for the rear vision mirrors is very cool. Thank you for sharing this MOC, you did very well.

One of your best, regarding proportions and overall appearance.

Color...I still prefer yellow for Liebherr cranes, but orange is pretty refreshing, and it suits it very well!

Linear actuators are nicely integrated here, much better than pneumatics, imo.

I really like this one very much!

Exelent moc! Very realistic and the detail is spot on. Do you happen to have any detailed pics of the under carriage? I'm curious how you did the susepntion and steering. Is the steering controled by the spare tire on the back?

Great work! I love the counterweight and the pulley design. And the color is just awesome. I love the "LEGO Orange"!  The log skidding truck is a great "bonus MOC" and looks fantastic being hoisted by this crane. Great work on both of these MOC's. :classic:

Edit: I figured out what you used for the wheel covers. It was this piece, correct?

Thank you :) Yes, the spare tire controls steering.

And a photo of the carrier:

Thank you. Yes, it's a hockey puck. When I saw them on BL, I knew that they will be perfect for my crane ;)

A very impressive MOC. First, it looks really nice - orange rather than yellow is a change but some of the details are nicely done like the headlamps and wheel hubs. I like the choice of wheels - those are some of my favorite new tyres.

The functionality incorporated is astounding (although I am not a Technic expert nor have I viewed many MOCs with Technic). Having four sets of turning axles is impressive, and it's well thought out having a genuine counterweight not just bricks!

This gets a thumbs up in my book - I'd be delighted to have a model like this in my collection.

Small? It's tiny!

Seriously, it's crazy that you call this small. It's very impressive... I really like the orange (yellow for construction vehicles was getting old) and all the techniques you squeezed in. Excellent work.

Mmmm Orange....

Thats a good MOC, especially since its Minifig scale

NICE great crane and looks great compared to the real thing

I really love the color scheme.

verry refreshing.

The design is brilliant.

Very nice! I especially love the carrier. I look forward to the "bigger" MOC...

I really want to make a LG 1550. I worked with one once and it was very impressive.

Unfortunately, that "bigger MOC project" needs to be suspended for some time. I need much more parts than I firstly thought, so it will take some time to buy those parts... Anyway, I'm going to show you only one more MOC related to this "Big project".

Be patient ;)

And yes, this crane IS small. My project requires two cranes, and bigger will be taller than 100 studs. I think that LG 1550 could be that second crane ;)

That is really nice, I am not usually interested in Town themes and construction vehicles but this caught my eye, not only because it is orange (which is probably my favourite colour).

I am only guessing but I`d say you big project is a huge constrution sit diorama with loads of vehicles.

Anyway, I like this one and look forward to whatever you got coming our way.

I think that's even better than the set, I love it and would buy it if produced.:thumbup:

Wow that's fantastic. Best MOC I've seen in a long time! Do you have a picture of the real thing to compare?

Is this for sale? I hope some of you guys actually this your MOCs for sale. I want one of these so bad. Our designers sometimes can completely demolish hired Lego Designers in my opinion. I hope no one takes that into offense. People here at Eurobricks like you are amazing builders.

lego designers have to make simple models which are easy to build, yet most of the MOCs that get shown here probelly use complex designs and are highly delicate.

ive had offical models survive falls that my MOCs would shatter on!

i also believe we all use old or expensive parts alot, which is counter to the avarage that we expect to pay for 1 piece.

This is a great MOC. The orange colour is loud but it fits. Love to have one in my study. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
