I'm totally in love with that last picture! :pir-wub: How awesome.

YnyklY is right about the bow, one of the hardest parts of the ship thanks to it's curved shapes.

The ship has a nice coloursheme and some great techniques in it. I'd love to see some of them appearing in the ship building index!

Great job!

Not much to add to what's been said: it's great! My favorite detail is the doors on the deck. I agree on the bow-comments though...

Great picture with realistic effects!! Which program did you use to create it?

Photoshop.

I created a 3 level psd.

First and third level with the changed original and in the level between the borderfree ship.

And than rub out the place of the ship with 50% rubber intense.

Beautiful. You have a lot of talent! I look forward to seeing much more of you creations. This ship should be indexed as you used so many great technics. If you wanted to you could do a short tutoral on how you did the sides and a few other special technics for the ship building techniques index I am working on.

I don't know where I can find the technique section or if it already started, so I upload them here. They could taken for it.

Here are a few pics to show you the build in techniques. The red/brown of them are from my new WIP ship

The curved "planking look" and the three points where they are fixed to the hull

Two different systems to connect the canon shutter with the plank.

And the cabine with the seven sided window gallery.

Yes this would be very nice too, but if make it thinner towards the top you need the log bricks or 2 round ones over and under a normal brick otherwise it wouldn't work.

The possible colours for the log bricks are only: brown, black, darkgrey, grey, tan and white.

That's a very good technique. It makes the ship look a lot more realistic :pir-wub:

I also love the way you built those gunports.

Very cool MOC!! Keep up the good work.

Wow this is really a grand ship.

You just have got a new Fan of your work.

Nice to see a Ship of the Hanseatic League, i didn't know that there have been big ships like Galleons.

I love how you did the Tumblehome and the seven sided Stern.

I especially like your curved Planking it looks really realistic and elegant, but is it sturdy enough to move the Ship without breaking apart?

Like someone said above, the gunports are ingenius! (particularly the first of the two versions you showed us above).

Are the cannons able to move, so the gunports NEED to be opend or closed?

I hope you don't mind if i copy your doors to lower deck for my small explorer Galeon i am currently building.

One question, don't you think your Spritsail is slightly to big? It could be the angle of the Pictures on the other hand.

Is the cabin going to get some furniture?

Overall this is one of the best Lego ships i have ever seen.

Keep on your outstanding work.

Ps: on thing, please don't paint the Sails too much.

This is a stunning MOC, one of my favorite pirate ships of all time so far, and I totally agree with the thought that this should be alego set, and wow, I looked at the step by step pictures for the side and still don't quite get how you did that planking, excellent technique! :pir_laugh2:
