I saw the Family Home set at Target (in Portland, Oregon) last night.

Okay, now that's a curve ball I wasn't expecting........Target.....that's two exclusives together.....but wait both August release.....their monster toy sale finishes next week - maybe just maybe luck will be on us Aussie's !

So the fact that a Target in the US got the set doesn't mean anything for when it will show up in Australia or who will get it in stock.

Well Target US scored the CW pirate tank last year and so did Target AU, so too with Cad Bane Speeder too I have been told by Lego AU - also 8403 has been removed from Mr.Toys (Toyworld) web site in Queensland.

Anyway thats sort of straying off the topic a little, so.....

Has anyone else in the world seen both 8404 and 8403 on store shelves ?

8404 is available in austrian TRU shops and allready marked down to 79 euro. TRU truck is down to 23,99 and City construction Superpack (building site, cement mixer and digger) is even cheaper at 47,99 eur (those three would otherwise cost 120 euro)

According to Brickset, the 3222 Helicopter and Limousine set is popping up in WalMarts and even Targets in the United States as of Friday 30 July. Anyone have word on the USD$ price???

I have no idea about the USD price. But I did hear somewhere that it was a Walmart exclusive. However, that probably won't be true if it was seen at Target.

I have a feeling it will run the course of the Helicopter Transporter- "Limited Edition" style but available in most stores, yet discontinued around or after Christmastime.

To answer my own question, one Brickset member is reporting a $34.99 price tag for 3222 at WalMart, and a full ten dollars higher at $44.99 at TRU. As I said, I have yet to see it at either, so I have no official confirmation-- but I thought others might like to know.

It's definitely the most retailer-specific exclusive set in terms of content, not counting things like Shell promos. So it will be interesting to see if it appears on S@H at all.

Lego 7848 is a Toys R Us exclusive and will not show up at S@H or any Lego Brand stores

8403 & 8404 will be available at S@H and in Lego Brand stores!

8403 will not be available at Toys R Us!

I just got the family home from Target. It looks like a very lovely set!

A couple of days ago I went to the Georgia Lego Store to buy Green Grocer and to ogle at the Public Transport set. I bought Green Grocer (10 dollars off thanks to it's box being crushed) and also got the new little Lego Astronaught magnet for free. I then asked about Public Tranusport and they said they would get it in a few days, but that it's allready available at Toys R Us.

Just got the Family Home, yes, at Target. Obviously won't have a chance to build it for awhile, but I was surprised at how many pieces (383?) and how substantial of a set it seemed. I guess I was expecting something much smaller and less significant. Looks like a great set!

Hello friends... just thought it was worth sharing that the American TRU site now has the Advent Calendar listed as IN STOCK.

$34.99 USD ... I'm hoping that means about $29.99 in Target and other stores.

Big dent in wallet. Dropped by my local Toys'R'Us today, and they'd got all the new City sets. Couldn't resist picking up the TRU exclusive truck and the Public Transport. Got a couple of issues with the truck (or rather with the little shop), but I have to say: The Public Transport has got to be one of the best sets I've built since I came out of my dark ages. Love the colours, especially on the bus, the yellow sports car is better-looking than 8402, and the tram is just brilliant. Expensive - but still highly recommended!

Edit: Oh, yeah, Norway is the place, in case anyone was wondering.

To me, the yellow car's frontal part looks very much Audi-like.
