I also doubt you're getting track with that train. I don't own any train sets, do the wheels look compatible to anyone? Would compatible wheels be okay for a push-toy? I'd imagine that most kids this line is aimed at wouldn't be into Lego trains.

As for Lotso's truck, are prelim boxes digital mockups or photographs? I'm not sure the box in that image is wide enough to hold the dump, if it's a single piece. Either way, the image isn't clear enough to make out exactly how the truck is constructed, but we can see that the cab elements all look regular enough, and I actually love how <insert that tiresome argument> the truck is. They did a good job, making it look like something you'd find on that kindergarten floor.

I can't wait until after the movie when all the sets go to "Sorry, this item is not available is this country: United States" after two months because of lackluster sales.

Once again, LEGO has ruined a good set idea that [could have been better] barely is reminiscent of the real movie train (Jesus, could they have made the wagons any shorter? ), and is Maxifig scaled.

No comment on the other sets, I don't know what the hell they are but they are certainly going to be in surplus supply on Bricklink.

I do believe he'll eat his words though. The train, at least will sell really well I bet. If it's not available at any time, I'll bet it's because so many people ordered it. :P Let's see him design something better.

That Train set looks really nice though. It has an exclusive Rex figure!

The film is not due for cinema release till at least June 2010.

You may have the right to speack your mind, but you don't need to be so overly critical when other people obviously like these sets. There are some LEGO themes I don't enjoy but I don't go an rant aout how stupid they are. Also you have to remember that these are LEGO's based off a movie about TOYS!!!!! Of course some of the things will look simple!!! But they're still cool imo and I like animated cartoons made into LEGOs.

You're all a bunch of whiners! This is clearly intended to be a small, cheap set just to get you Lotso, Octopinky and whatever the hell that brown thing is.

If anyone ever tells me that Toy Story is about toys then I will blow a basket, go bonkers, etc. I know Toy Story is about toys. Please do not remind me! Same with "LEGO is for children". It does not void my right to speak my views on these sets.

Well, we don't really know if this is the train that the LEGO model is based on. For one thing, this train has a tender, and the LEGO's doesn't. Plus, Buzz is about the same size as one of the train cars in that picture, while in the set he is about the same size ratio to the train as a human is to a real train.

Maybe LEGO just screwed up their proportions big time for playability. However, it's more likely that the train in the set is a different train than the one in your picture, and that the train in the picture was just a small train that doesn't really mean anything, because it was just made for a small scene specifically for the trailer and everyone is overanalyzing it.

Why complain when LEGO actually makes a nice-looking train, even if it isn't "accurate?" Are you also quite upset that the Western Town set has depth and isn't a piece of cardboard, Legoliner Pilot? Because personally, I don't want a cardboard LEGO set nor a train that I could crush with my finger if it was the "accurate" size next to the minifigures.

About these new pictures, I like the look of the train (although its probably too expensive to be worth buying for me), but don't care much for the other two. The truck doesn't come with any awesome minifigures, and the factory whatever is just kind of a conveyer belt with machinery type stuff, not my cup of tea.

My only complaint with the train is it seems too tall but that is the "minifigures" fault.

Plus don't forget the great ignore feature everyone. I suggest EVERYONE use it if they have a problem.

Er, more likely that it's the actual buzz figure.

As in the Disney-made Buzz figure.

And the train is different, look at the wagons from the set and the pic, different colors and different wagons. It might be based of it, which brings the question whether or not this set is based off of that train, or is a plot point in the movie.
