But more importantly, I found a pic of what appears to be an Alien Claw Machine set! :cry_happy: It looks awesome and I can't wait for it to come out! I can't post it because it's preliminary, so here a link instead: Clicky!

Great pic, Oky! Thanks!

Great find indeed! You've done your name justice once more, just2good! Funny how all the TS sets seem to debut in California.

1: Anyway, I was browsing the Lego section of Kmart's website because of their buy-3-get-one-free sale, and to my surprise, they had Lotso's Dump Truck listed (out of stock of course). It has a new pic of the set where you can see the Stretch and Chunk figs quite clearly. I've made a screencap for you guys. Just click the pic below to get to the page.

1:Cool! I hope they have it in stock soon

2:OMG!!! I want it badly! Hope it comes out soon!

Hmmm, a fleshie 'blow up doll' face, interesting...

How big is Lotso, anyway? :hmpf:

I bet there's a spin-the-face function on the orange dude. I can't see why it would be assembled so oddly otherwise.

We're getting more trucks and cars in this line than most CITY ones :sceptic:

Well, this is interesting.

I think Stretch's body will be, uhh, stretchable, to some extent. Stretch's body seems to be made of rubber, and I think that will stay. Chunk possibly has a button or lever on the back to change his face. Perhaps that's what the actual Chunk from the movie does?

The minifig driver looks a bit odd to me. I wouldn't mind a generic smiley face. Stretch's face looks strange too. I hope they include an alternate happy face.

Wonder why the top of the box only shows Stretch and Lotso.

And yes. That is a blow-up doll face, isn't it. Yes. :classic: :classic: :look::wub::hmpf_bad::classic:

Nice, although the driver freaks me out.

Wait until you see Svelte's first MOC with it, THAT will freak you out...

That face does indeed add a new level of meaning to the word 'fleshy'

Are the toy story sets sold at Disneylands? Im going to Tokyo disneyland later in the year and it would be great to get some of these while im over there :classic:

Thanks for the stitching, just2good! :sweet:

 Well, they already made a yellow one, so this was to be expected.

Seriously, though, is that a mouth or a nose or what?

The movie Chunk, perhaps, but the minifig, most likely not. Why go into micro-mechanics for something you can simply do with your finger? (That's what she said)

Yeah, I hope for that too.

Me too, considering how final this box seems to be. :look:

I haven't seen them in the one here in California, but I can check again for you next time I go there if you want. But even if they are, they are almost guaranteed to be overpriced. :sadnew:

Oh, and sorry for that April Fools thing; I just couldn't help myself.

Thats alright Oky. :classic: Its disappointing that they dont have them but it was worth asking.

The movie version most certainly does.
Here's Chunk's description: "Chunk will rock your world! This gargantuan creature sports protective shoulder spikes, while his ferocious fists are ready to smash whatever enemy gets in his way. Chunk’s oversized limbs are fully posable, making him ready for hours of imaginative fun. As an added bonus, the press of a hidden head spike will spin Chunk's facial expression from friendly to fierce! No batteries necessary."

And heres a pic of his "friendly" expression. LEGO nailed it IMO.

I forgot the scale of the minifig.

If it was as big as one of the large rock monsters, then that may have been possible. I think it will just have a simple clicking lock to keep the face in place.

Nah, Galidor! )

Indeed, very true. It doesn't look too bad to me. Sure, there's a giant piece, but...

Wonder why the top of the box only shows Stretch and Lotso.

It's probably because of size issues. The top (or maybe the side in some sets, I don't remember) of the box is meant to show the minifigs in actual size.

Three TS3 sets are now available for preorder at Amazon US! :sweet: Just click the images below to get to the individual pages:

Unfortunately no larger resolution pics. On the bright side, the release date seems to be May 1, so I expect them to pop up in TRU about a week before that, which is in two weeks! :cry_happy:

Lego has never looked less Lego than this.

That sentence doesn't even make sense! :hmpf_bad: And I agree with the Penguin, Galidor and Ben 10 are way worse than this! :sadnew:

... but at least the model has studs and is mostly made out of bricks, just like any other Lego set.

Yes, but it usually lists all the figs, especially when there are only a few figs like in this set. :sceptic: Oh well, who cares about the box anyway; it's the inside that counts.

Aggghhh! :sing: I'm sold I'm going to have to buy these, the figs are too good! :cry_sad::laugh: That trash compactor looks like it's chuck full of useful bley parts i'm definantly getting that and the truck if I have enough money!

Never have more true words been spoken, I'm gonna need to see some good reviews of these sets before i make the purchase.

Admittedly, Ben 10 wasn't too unlike LEGO-- it still had a smooth, chunky aesthetic which one would usually attribute to LEGO. I like to think of it as "Galidor as it should have been". Admittedly, though, it's a lot easier working from a cartoon than working with a live-action TV series that needs lifelike rubber costumes.

And also, while the original statement was way off base, a better way to phrase it which probably could be argued more effectively is "LEGO has never looked more like a clone brand than this". Of course, even that is problematic when you think of those tiny LEGO Racers sets with the weird monster dudes.

Anyway, the dump truck isn't too disappointing-- it looks like what it's supposed to look like, but with a decidedly LEGO flavor. However, I wish the dumper was not one piece. One-piece dumpers are not bad for the most part, but this one's too cartoony to ever work in a City set, thus limiting its use to one set in one theme. I don't mind specialized parts for the most part, but when they're that huge, it's nothing more than a POOP.

Woohoo, it's only the third worse set :sceptic: , Like Aanchir says, it looks like clone brand. I have the feeling that the facts that this set has something new is the only argument people are interested in it and would probably buy it.

Exactly what I was going to say!

Again, it's probably size. The disclaimers and legal stuff take up the other space. Of course, the contents are what matter, but try telling that to Lego with their oversized boxes.
