6 pizzas?? Dang! If there is any TS sets I am getting, it's this one. Do you think it's really from Toy Story 3, or maybe from the first or second? I know it has the label, but still...

I talked to the guy at the table, Apparently it's in all 3, but I'm not sure if this cast of characters is specific to the third.

Well, it is a pizza delivery truck after all.

That pizza shooter is quite hilarious. Is it a new piece? Also, any word on what the price is gonna be?

I didn't know about the pizza launcher, and I didn't get to see the set's box either, so thanks for those!

I'll have my pictures of these sets up in a couple of hours. Most of the parts in both the train and truck are printed instead of stickered (the truck's stickers on the doors are stickers, but it seems like almost every other part is printed)!

Under the hood of the truck is a cylinder piece (the part in the Builder impulse set) that holds the launching pizzas, and it seems that most of the train is empty on the inside, except for a box of dynamite and some controls at the caboose. There's also an interesting trap door mechanism at the top of the train section with the "$" printing on it. You pull this piece off a 1 x 2 technic brick and it falls down.

Unfortunately I can't attend it myself because it's a bit too far away. So close and yet so far.

Aww, that's too bad. This was my first LEGO convention, and it was quite exciting to see all these amazing MOCs and two new sets on display. Hopefully you'll be able to attend next year! Edited April 12, 2010 by ILikePi

Agreed, though the Garbage Truck is a close second.

There's no back window so that you can seat Rex in the back without having to take his tail off. Too bad for the window, but that's an easy mod.

Rex's arms are made of rubber and move together simultaneously. His legs move separately, and his tail can spin (all parts stay in place when moved, including the hands). Quite a lot of poseability than most animal figs if you ask me!

I'm not sure if his tail or legs can be removed, but Profound Whatever said that the legs can be taken off, and the tail looks like it can be removed too.

I don't think that TLG could even afford to put another windshield piece in. There seems to be a total of 12 windshield pieces in the set (6 are as mudguards, 2 for the front, one for the top hatch, two for the side, one for the back bumper)!

Unfortunately I did not ask about what store it's exclusive to or the price. I was too happy to see the sets to remember to ask questions!

Oh, brilliant! Not only does the pizza truck include three minifigs I really, really want, it contains pizzas! If there really are six, this is great! I know it's not much to be excited about, but I have never gotten any pizzas before, and now I'll have a stack of them!

What I need now is to have a cheap price placed on the garbage truck set, and I will be ecstatic. And, of course, I'll need to find the sets when they are released first...

The Pizza Truck has lots of detail and useful parts, so it is the best TS set so far!

Although it does have a lot of iconic TS figs- this means I'll be able to get them in a set I actually want.

With a little modding, this is going to be a great display set.

That's great news, especially considering that they have free shipping on orders over $100! I will check my Lego Store on Friday and if they don't have the sets yet, I think I'll order them.

WOW, that pizza truck is massive! This and the army men on patrol are gonna be the only sets I'm getting though, maybe all bricklink a woody, maybe.

EDIT: The reason for having no back windshield is so that you can stick Rexs' tail through it.

I am going to a Lego store for the first time on Friday and I am crossing my fingers that they will have the Pizza Planet Truck!

I really have no intentions of collecting all of these sets, but I felt so nostalgic when I saw the first pics of the truck. If only we got a Slinky Dog and Mr. Potato Head- they are two of my favorite characters and because they are from rival toy companies, I doubt we will ever see them in Lego.

Looks like the train, dump truck and others have been pulled from the link :( If anyone was quick enough they might have an early bargin...

From memory the train was around $70 (max), trash compator around $50 and the Dump Truck also around $50 but listed as limited edition only. All had qualified for free shipping...
