Nightmare Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Thanksmuchiness! :DNow where did you find it? xD BIONICLE.com, Wednesdays, News sections. Also, the code will be JounreyX, x= number of the chapter.
Wrinkledlion X Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Cool chapter. The riddle reminds me of the kinda stuff we had in the early years.
Brickthing Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 That was a good chapter, but it referred to both kios and feet as measurements, which really devalues the point of Matoran measurement.

Ahh, I don't care about that kind of detail. I wonder, how did Tarduk even know the answer to the riddle? Agori know nothing about the Three Virtues. EDIT: Go to BIONICLE.com and see MN's Saga right now. MOST. EPIC. PICTURE. EVAH. Edited February 18, 2010 by Phantoka Kopaka Nuva

Zip Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) ....did it just say that MN forced aliens into his body? So many questions. Edited February 18, 2010 by Zip
CabooseBM Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 ....did it just say that MN forced aliens into his body? So many questions. No, he is referring to the beings inside(Matoran and such.) his a body as "taking them for granted".
Zip Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 asdfgh misinterpreted the "took the beings in" part.
Mesonak Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Hey guys. Prototype Stars (Or just bad artistic license) Before you go screaming "THIS IS FAKE" you might wanna also check this, this, and this. Oh and also click the video in the lower-right corner of this website. Mata Nui advert done in the exact same style. Also, majhost gallery containing pictures of them all except Nektann. I think I've provided enough proof. :P -Mesonak

I think I've provided enough proof. :P -Mesonak I've talked to Front about these, and neither he nor Greg know anything about them, so they're definitely not prototypes. The most likely explanation is that they're special adverts that Nicktoons paid to have made, although I really don't know why Nicktoons wanted ads of sets that don't exist and look worse than the real sets. The Agori Tower Defense game is up on Bionicle.com, and it's certainly worth checking out! As was said before, there's a lot of extra gameplay elements such as easily movable towers and "god-powers".
Phantoka Kopaka Nuva Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Game doesn't save. Other than that, the game is good.
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 New Journey's End and MN Saga are epic. Great art and great storytelling. And its nice to see Click too. The abnormal Stars are lame. Though Rahkshi intrigues me. The new game is fantastic... and addicting. Cutscenes are cool. -ZotS
Zarkan Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Great new updates. The first chapter of Journey's end was worth it just for the awesome "Unity Duty Destiny" riddle, but we also got a great scene with Kiina and Ackar, as well as the first hints as to how the info about Tarduk in the guide book fits into the storyline. And Chapter 14 of the front page blog was epic, with some wonderful artwork and the confirmination that, yes, there are other civilizations in the Bionicle world. It was only expected, but it's nice to finally hear about it in the actual story.

I dunno about the legitness of those Stars, but going to the site it mentions, Nicktoons site does have a similar-themed commercial with Mata Nui in it :0 here in the lower left box Edited February 20, 2010 by Blaver
Artahn Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 ^Thanks for pointing that out. That's how they made it look so good; they gave mata nui an edit to look like the stars. If you look closely, you can see that his animations are the exact same as the three "commercials".
Mesonak Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 (edited) ^Thanks for pointing that out. That's how they made it look so good; they gave mata nui an edit to look like the stars. If you look closely, you can see that his animations are the exact same as the three "commercials". Or Nicktoons edited the commercial themselves to promote the Stars without contacting Lego. Perhaps they did it just so they could advertise the Stars and give them more articulation. I dunno. But enough people have taken pictures of and recorded the commercial, that I think the possibilites of it being fake are slim to none. -Mesonak Edited February 21, 2010 by Mesonak
Mesonak Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 (edited) There's one person who took pictures of it on his TV. Another who filmed three commercials on TV. And another who filmed the same commercials, plus Rahkshi, and uploaded them to youtube. And then we have Nicktoon's website, which has a Mata Nui clip done in the same style. Unless there's some mass conspiracy theory going on involving Nicktoon's official site, an announcer being held against his will and forced to add his voice to fake commercials, and the hacking and planting of said commercials across TV screens worldwide, I'm going to have to say they're real. Plus we have Greg's statement: That's not what I said -- what I said was it may well have been produced by Nicktoons at the request of LEGO, using what assets they had and some artistic license on their part. The things I can say with certainty are that sets that looked like that never existed and that LEGO didn't make the ad ourselves. So I don't think "fake" is the proper term here -- more like, "stylized." -Mesonak Edited February 21, 2010 by Mesonak
Phantoka Kopaka Nuva Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Hey a new Mata Nui Saga chapter is up! YAY! More generic Toa and Matoran! Other than that, not much to see.
Brickthing Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 YAY! More generic Toa and Matoran! Other than that, not much to see. All in the post-2008-now-robot-insides MU.
Refia Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 All in the post-2008-now-robot-insides MU. Yeah, it's really annoying.
Aanchir Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Yeah, it's really annoying. I've really never minded these depictions. After all, who's to say they're not inside smaller Matoran structures, like for instance the power plant inside the Metru Nui Coliseum. Perhaps that might not have been as feasible for massive structures like that in the beginning of TLR (which I wish had been hinted at elsewhere, since it would help answer the question of "what sort of work do Av-Matoran do?), but they're certainly not impossible to imagine when compared with other industrial centers like Xia or Metru Nui.
Malum_King_Vorox Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Chapter 2 of Sahmad's Tale is up!!! In this time, Sahmad and Telluris found Metus. - In this chapter, apparently, does the return of Dreaming Plague - And the most amazing ... this chapter is the first canon mention of romance in all BIONICLE story!!!
