From what I gather the MU beings have built-in devices that allow them to understand Agori and for Agori to understand them or something like that.

Are there any quotes floating around for this? I've look and haven't found one :/

It's nice how Mata Nui doesn't want to harm his people, but in the end basically gave them a second Great Cataclysm. =p

But I know he had no choice.

If you didn't already know, Greg has kindly written-in a reminder on each page of the story stating that Mata Nui is, in fact, a giant robot, and every single being in the MU is surprised to hear of this.

Sorry to break up the discussion, but...

Hi Greg, hope you're doing well... got a few questions for you, if you don't mind -

1) Does the whole 'three days' scenario apply to the MU right now; seeing as it's both badly damaged (in some areas) and in the process of being abandoned? I only ask because of the beings who might not be so enthusiastic to leave it; and what would become of them if they chose to stay behind. The Zyglak, any others not welcome in the new (combined) society, etc.

1a) I know the comic portrayed Makuta/the MU as landing on his/it's back, but just to clarify - is that the position it's in? Assuming the mechanisms that maintain it's internal heat, light and gravity are disabled... it'd be kind of hard for anyone to inhabit it anymore, even if it wasn't falling apart; because everything's upside down...

2) Are the chances of seeing Toa Ignika (or the Ignika's 'councsiousness') second to none, now; seeing as Mata Nui is inhabiting the mask?

3) Will the fates of Brutaka, Axonn, Artahka and co. be dealt with in future story?

Thanks,

-kuvi[/spolier]

1) Yes, of course it does. The robot is dead, so no heat, no light, inside of it. So the beings who would stay behind would have to be beings who could survive in those conditions. Otherwise, it's leave or die.

1a) Yup, and the artificial gravity and stabilizers will stop working because it's dead

2) I have no plans to bring Toa Ignika back

3) Yup, I still have one more chapter of ROS to do

Sorry, Refia. :P

Yeah, well, I guessed as much ever sinse I read "Rebirth" and saw Mata Nui inhabiting the Ignika again. *sigh*

Did Greg say "one more ROS chapter"? Wow, I was hoping for at least 2 more.

Asked Greg a few questions:

1. I've just read Journey's End chapter 4. I have to ask: is the winged OoMN agent someone we know (like Johmak, maybe)?

2. Is the Golden Armor's power an one-shot use only?

3. Mata Nui's spirit is inside the Ignika now, which means the Ignika's spirit is dominated again, right?

4. Just wondering: any reasons why Artakha uses a warhammer?

1) No

2) Yup

3) Yup

4) I felt like it.

I'll follow up with a few more Q's.

Also, in the OGD, Greg just confirmed that Takua was THE FIRST Matoran ever. And Tahu's Golden Armor will give him some new powers to make up for him not being Nuva.

Did not see THAT coming. Nice!

But I still wanna beat Greg with a stick for revealing awesome stuff in a crappy manner on BZP. T___T What's wrong with him?

I think that was one of those on-the-spot decisions because he didn't have a problem with it.

I personally don't see it fitting for Takua to be the oldest Matoran, when he's always been the "kid" of the story. There are people arguing that age isn't linked to maturity, but if the oldest guy in the universe is Kohlii-obsessed and has been a Toa for less than a year...

Actually, when you think about it, he's only around Gresh's age. So technically, he's old in the MU, but young in SM.

Also, a follow-up to my last Q's:

5. Will the Golden Armor give Tahu any kind of powers to make up for him not being Nuva?

6. Can the Ignika still give curses to people holding it?

6a. If yes, then Kiina was definitely cursed, right? Since she was holding the Ignika in the last panel of Comic 7.

6b. Also, now that MN's dominating the Ignika, he's the only one that can work its power, right?

5) Follow the Journey's End book online for that answer

6) Yes

6a) No. Kiina was destined to hold it.

6b) Yes

Well, at least Kiina can go hug the Ignika all day without a curse bothering her.

EDIT: Nobody seems to be paying attention to this topic anymore. BTW, MN's Saga #21 is up. It's an image of MN crash-landing on Aqua Magna. Pretty lame, if you ask me.

Reign of Shadows 11 is up, and it's... well, lame, IMHO. Three guesses how Miserix and the others get saved? By our favorite (haha) solution-to-all-when-a-quick-fix-is-needed of course. The Shadowed One sideplot is solved terribly (

he's probably dead

), and WTF is up with the Toa Mahri and the Skakdi?

Nope, not impressed.

Reminded me a bit of the 2008 serials at times... Which makes sense, given that Greg is trying to resolve a ton of excess plotlines that started in that year. I applaud him for trying to wrap them all up, though honestly I barely remember many of them. I had completely forgotten about the Virus subplot, and everything about TSO's status.

Also, Kapura should've teleported on his own. He don't need no stinkin' Vezons.

I knew this was how ROS was going to end up, so I'm not really surprised. You guys can't really expect Greg to have this serial done smoothly at this point. I'm just glad we can move onto some new stuff now...

Eh, it was somewhat decent. At least we know what happened to the Virus thing. Guess TSO is history nowScratch that, Greg just confirmed that he's still alive. And that golden giant could be a lot of trouble. I'd love to see what that thing could do. Of course, it'd probably die before Teridax anyway......

But the best part of all: BOTA MAGNA. EPIC WIN.

Correction: Bota Magna IN THE MAIN UNIVERSE

Also, the earth tremor (Barraki part) was Teridax battling Mata Nui.

And The Shadowed One is alive and running (Greg confirmed it)

So one more chapter to go

PS: Toa Mahri brainwash: EPIC
