Zaktan of the Shadows Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Actually, BIONICLE started sometime in 2000, so next year is the 10th anniversary. -ZotS
Brickthing Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Actually, BIONICLE started sometime in 2000, so next year is the 10th anniversary.-ZotS No, it started in 2001, although it was halfway through the year for the US instead of the beginning of the year, which is one contributing reason to why there's only one 2001 canister wave.

Actually he is right, it did start in 2000, in Europe. Initial start date trumps any other release. However its release in 2000 is intended for 2001. -Omi

However its release in 2000 is intended for 2001.-Omi Sets coming out on 30 December 2000 counts as much as for a 2001 release date as 2008 sets coming out in late November 2007. Besides, LEGO recognizes BIONICLE as launching in 2001.

Yes that is what I said with "its release in 2000 is intended for 2001.", however does not take away from the fact it came out in 2000 in Europe. America isn't the only country in the world yanno. -Omi

However, we're in agreement on the fact that LEGO probably won't try to call 2010 BIONICLE's 11th (and consequently 10th anniversary) year right?
Lemonardo 114 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 The set list is propably fake because the TLR's ending implies that 2010 is gonna happen on Bara Magna. Yes, TLR was shown in select cinemac in Poland today, and will also be shown tomorrow. Since I'm going tomorrow I don't know anything else, so don't ask.
---Vertea--- Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 I've just scoured every forum Google provided in the search, and everyone else seems as confused as we are. Nowhere is there any sort of new or exciting info. I find that I'm feeling very skeptical about this leak, as there usually is a forum SOMEwhere with catalog pics or further info by now. I think that everyone here should start searching all over, since each person has their own methods and such which might increase our finding chance. C'mon, Guys!!! I know the movie is exciting news, but those leaks are out there and we need to find them!!!!!

Next year is the 10th year and 9th anniversery. :D -Omi
Tyranide Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 As far as I know, some people on our forum is working on getting spoilers; but I'm not involved in it, and because of it I can predict epic fail.

And you are not involved because...well? Look at Star Wars forum, they already have summer set names for their theme... Edited August 31, 2009 by 80 Dollar
KonguChan Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 the list is highly suspect I hope that "Nokama" end up being Tuyet (L)
80 Dollar Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 the list is highly suspect I hope that "Nokama" end up being Tuyet (L) The names that were released after the ones on the first page of this topic later turned out to be fake, so don´t worry about it.
KonguChan Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 The names that were released after the ones on the first page of this topic later turned out to be fake, so don´t worry about it. and beyond that has not confirmed anything? from what I understand we are only discussing "what if" of the tenth year
iLego94 Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Didn't we get 2009 spoilers by this time in 2008? Is the catalog late or has LEGO scared people out of scanning pics? ~iLego94

Is the catalog late or has LEGO scared people out of scanning pics?~iLego94 yeah... by this time last year we had already been fawning over both info AND pics. This year, though... is being difficult.
The Alchemyst Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 (edited) Nah, I swear it was late September/Early October when we got 09 scans, lemme check the forums again. EDIT: Scratch that, it was Late August for 09. Lemme see if it was 2008 I was mixing it with. >.> EDIT 2: Yep, September 25, 07 was when VBBN made that topic. So looks like it ranges. =/ If you take the average of those two, we should get somewhere in the middle of September. D: [-TA-] Edited September 5, 2009 by The Alchemyst
iLego94 Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Yeah, that set list could be real after all The movie leads us to think that Mata Nui and pals will still be around next year. ~iLego94
---Vertea--- Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Yeah, that set list could be real after all The movie leads us to think that Mata Nui and pals will still be around next year. ~iLego94 That's a reason to think that the list is fake, though. If MN, Gresh, Kiina, Berix, and Ackar are still around, then all we would need next year are villains.

If MN, Gresh, Kiina, Berix, and Ackar are still around, then all we would need next year are villains. You do realize that the story continues AFTER the movie correct? The movie isn't the end of the year. It's only 3/4 through. So we still have a lot of room to progress

The Dor Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Really? Where did you hear that? I remember hearing it from Greg. I don't have a quote, but honestly do you think they'd end a whole year of storyline in September?
Nightmare Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 November comic takes place after movie. TLR novel does not end at the same point, Greg said that it would go some what further into story.
