Toa Nuva007 Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Check out the preliminary box photo of BIONICLE STAR 7116 and 7117 here from a czech website http://www.legoland.cz/index.html I don't know whether I should be jumping for joy or vomiting my guts out.
Front Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I don't know whether I should be jumping for joy or vomiting my guts out. if you do both, you'll get splashes of nasty stuff up your trousers
Toa Nuva007 Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 if you do both, you'll get splashes of nasty stuff up your trousers Lol. But seriously, what can you say about that image? Is it real?
S-N Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 (edited) Photoshoped. Gresh's helmet is the same from the leaked pics we got a year ago. Edited September 18, 2009 by S-N
ShaddowCroc Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Check out the preliminary box photo of BIONICLE STAR 7116 and 7117 here from a czech website http://www.legoland.cz/index.html HOLY SHIT. If this "BIONICLE Stars" line is just remakes of old sets as smaller and more affordable Av-Matoran/Agori sets, I'm totally for it!!! I really hope these are real. Especially since it would mean an Av-Matoran/Agori head-compatible Hau, Avohkii, and whatever they use for "Piraka"'s face. I'm swelling with excitement! Eiieee!!!
~Wrack'n'Ruin~ Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Ugh. I do not want any Nuva, thanks. Bring on new characters!
TSO Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Check out the preliminary box photo of BIONICLE STAR 7116 and 7117 here from a czech website http://www.legoland.cz/index.html Seem to be real. Canisters' lids look totally new, and it seems for me, that this Gresh have new shoulder-armour (but maybe it's just because of my eyes got tired at the end of a day)).
ShaddowCroc Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 I think these aren't actually gonna be characters in the story, I think they're just rereleases of important characters from all most of the Years in BIONICLE so far. 2001-Tahu 2002-None (Unless they do a Bohrok rerelease later in the year. 2003-Takanuva/"Rahkshi" 2004-None (Sadly) 2005-None (Thankfully) 2006-"Piraka" (And dear God, I hope it's Vezon.) 2007-None 2008-None 2009-Gresh/Skrall So important characters from the most iconic BIONICLE years, I guess. (Except '04. Which makes me sad. >:) Oh man! This is sooooo cool!!!!
Front Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Lol.But seriously, what can you say about that image? Is it real? Just about five minutes ago, I stepped on my glasses and they are totally wrecked now. I haven't got a hawk's eye sight, so I'm sadly not able to comment on these photos. But I remember Gresh was mentioned, but that is a 2009 January set. Hardly anything new about that.
Bfahome Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 2002-None (Unless they do a Bohrok rerelease later in the year. Do want.

I guess it's just your feet following Danish law. Don't worry, it's not fair for any of us to try and get you to disclose information about them, so I'm (and hopefully all others) won't try to make you. For the pictures though - wow, that is both painful and incredible to see that all the iconic characters will be represented like that. It's awesome because the Toa are finally the same price that they were originally, and painful because they're chibi 10-piece renditions of them. I hope dearly that Greg and the story team can come up with a good story for the wide arrangement of sets, and I wonder that if they're doing a retrospect year of all BIONICLE characters, what's for 2011? New story with new characters, continued story with new quests, or might 2010 be the end of BIONICLE as far as the theme name and story goes?
iLego94 Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 What the Fudge has happened to Tahu?????????????? He went from being a mighty warrior, the most iconic BIONICLE set ever, to a chibi. And the scary part is I like it. If this is real, I might just pee my pants. However demoalizing or immature, it would be a tribute to the ultimate year of BIONICLE. I agree that these characters will probably not be in the story though. ~iL
Ikki o' Moopyville Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Could we seriously be getting a Mata Hau with plus-rod? The kind you could attach to Ackar and make him look EXACTLY like Tahu?? Now I'm just worried Darkness Falls's rumors might be true. xD I don't want less than 12 canister sets... 'twould suck if the main sets were the small sets, with 10-20 pieces each. ;_; -Ikk

iLego94 Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Marketing wise, it would be a very smart decision for LEGO. They could essentially re purpose the BIONICLE line in order to fit a different economic situation and target group, while still catering to the hardcore fans with old characters. ~iL

iLego94 Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 They look shopped anyways.-Omi I agree, the masks are way off scale, and the old 2001 infected Hau looks fishy. ~iL
---Vertea--- Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Looks like the LEGO Ben 10 is a combo of System and Technic. Also, It's neat to see Gresh and Tahu parts in an impulse set- It means that we can get all the important parts for the character and then build the rest ourselves.

I'm afraid of that - given the amount of Av-recolours we already and will have. Although, I also hope that's the idea that set designers are going for. It might mean that the Hau is actually the original Hau (not so good), but it then brings the possibility of recolours of original masks (very good!).
The Alchemyst Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 There's some action going on the bottom right. Some strange new game thing probably. Eh, mixed ideas, I never really cared for small sets. Yay for the fact that we get recolors. But if this is real that means that the Canisters are basically Titans. And the Titans... are Great Beings-type things? And I don't want to talk about vehicles. [-TA-]

See I don't see why they have to remake the Hau again, especially since they already have a mold with an axle pin already in existence. -Omi
Darth Legolas Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Why would Lego used a preliminary piece that they already made a final version of? This is way too fishy. You kids are a bit jumpy. Then again, you could all say the same if you walked right into the Star Wars section to browse for a day.
