S-N Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Can someone contact the guy who took the pictures and ask him if he could take pics of the instruction booklet?
tao07 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Ben 10 is the new canister?*Buys* Ha! I wish it was....
ShaddowCroc Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Woah Woah Woah Woah Woah. Look at this picture! It seems that the Skrall helmet is actually connected though the mouth like Kanohi are! O:
Brickthing Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 (edited) Where are these actual photos of them coming from anyways? Some kind of ToyFair? Some kind of Russian Festival/Toyfair yes. ShaddowCroc, you're confused - that's a normal Skrall helmet on a normal Glatorian head. I that Rahkshi. Vezok looks too stylized though, but that could be excused to Chibi-ness. He lost a toe on each foot though. Edit: Vezok's head is a Glatorian helmet though. Edited September 20, 2009 by 3D Brickthing

Satellite Jack Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 (edited) The Skrall has multicolored av-matoran limbs. Doesn't look too cool though. The only ones that peek my interest are the Rahkshi and Vezok. I'll finally have another harpoon-thing! EDIT: ShaddowCroc, compare it to a normal Glatorian head. It's definitely upright. Gus 263 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Ben 10 is the new canister?*Buys* I think it can be. There are exactly 6 Ben 10 figures. And as they look like Bionicle sets, I think they took Canister sets' place. In my opinion, Ben 10 sets (from what I've heard) have a great potential. And look like they will bring more innovation than those new Bionicle Stars. I thought in this possibility even more after check the aliens that will "become" sets. Humoungousaur have brown, a color that is still missing in Bionicle. The Bionicle stars, in other hand, have some repeated building. I would think in get one, if they costs the same as one Agori. But as they costs the same (or even in a price near to it) as the Toa Mata, I'm really confused if they worth or don't.

Nightmare Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Ben 10 Alien Force taking BIONILCE place? Think about it: - BIONICLE is LEGO's very own Intellectual Property. It has its own story, which is only a mean to promote the sets, of which the best selling are the canisters. - It's one of LEGO's lines that has more multimedia (dare I say it has more than the rest) including songs, CGI videos that can reach 2 minutes, and they're very own movies. - We have to tell something new next year, on BM, with new sets, powers, weapons, locations. - BIONICLE Stars is only impulse. C'mon guys, you know as well as me that this is only for promoting the line to younger fans.
Zip Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I think it may just be for the 2010 winter lineup.
Bfahome Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 SQUEEEEE THAT RAHKSHIIIII <3 Yes, but plenty of movements are possible. It ends up attaching to the back. Please tell me it's rubber. ._. I know this, but look at the way it's connected. The Glatorian head looks like it's sideways, not up-right. Normal Glatorian head, normal Skrall helmet. Why would they use a Glatorian head that way and not just an Av-Matoran head? Why would they make an unnecessary new helmet mold?
Gus 263 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I sure hope not. Alien Force is cool, but that or Bionicle? C'mon! I'm not fan of the show, so I obviously prefer Bionicle ... But I think the Ben 10 sets look like way more Bionicle than Ben 10's Aliens (But I just saw the pictures of the back of one set, so I can be wrong...). Anyways, after checking a post from Front, I got preference of Ben 10 sets over Bionicle (he said that sand blue, sand green and brown would be included in Ben 10). When I said that they "took the place" of the Canisters, I just meant for the first semester. I think that there will be new Bionicle canisters in summer. But I hope that there will be Titans in the first season.

The Stars are for the hardcore fans as well, most 9 year olds don't give a @&$# about Tahu Mata. The canisters are made for the core age group, hence why the set designers don't care about the people whi want gears - 90% of the customers don't want gears :)

Yea, but If they're using those colors for Alien Force, there's no reason they can't use them for Bionicle.
iLego94 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Guys, there are 6 small sets every year, I don't think these are replacing canisters.
Gus 263 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 (edited) Yea, but If they're using those colors for Alien Force, there's no reason they can't use them for Bionicle. Well, it is true. But I can't wait to have more brown pieces! Now, about Bionicle stars: I just would want to confirm... Rakhshi's "mask"/spine... Is it just one piece? Edited September 20, 2009 by Gus 263
The Dor Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I just would want to confirm... Rakhshi's "mask"/spine... Is it just one piece? Yup
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Rahkshi and Vezok are Both look very cool. I love how these stay true to the original sets! AND LHIKAN! -ZotS
iLego94 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Rahkshi and Vezok are Both look very cool. I love how these stay true to the original sets! AND LHIKAN! -ZotS How is it Lhikan? It has the Mata Hau . . .
Bfahome Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 How is it Lhikan? It has the Mata Hau . . . I was about to ask a similar question; why is everyone calling him/it Lhikan? It looks like it's just a gold Tahu.
Gus 263 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Yup Oh no... I would like very much to have a Rahkshi spine again.
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 How is it Lhikan? It has the Mata Hau . . . I believe Lhikan also possess the Great Hau, and besides - it looks pretty much like Lhikan; Enough so they could pass it off as him. -GRESHIOS
ShaddowCroc Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 How is it Lhikan? It has the Mata Hau . . . It's got a gold Hau, (Even if it is a Hau Mata), gold armor, and a gold shield. Sounds like Lhikan to me . . .
Omicron Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 (edited) I like the yellow Rahkshi. Shame it is the Yellow Orange and not actual Yellow. It's got a gold Hau, (Even if it is a Hau Mata), gold armor, and a gold shield. Sounds like Lhikan to me . . . Lhikan didn't have a flame sword. Still find it stupid that they have 2 Glatorian in there instead of just 1. Figured they're better stars out there. -Omi Edited September 20, 2009 by Omicron
