The Alchemyst Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 (edited) Oh man, this is turning out like the Bionicle A-Team. This "Exo" would be a White set? o.o The Nokama is seriously confusing me. ._. No way that's possible... In the MU. So if this is real, it's not the universe we know and love, maybe? And the other sets are titans? [assuming that it's impossible to have Takanuva... as a small set? o.O] That's a lot of titans o.o Or maybe 10 canisters? lol If this is real, TLG is really mixing things up. ._. Seems that with that many titans, there won't be Small sets for the first half [i.e. Summer set Style and WInter Set style switched] I really hope we see Evil Taka and Light Teridax. D: EDIT: Hey, this sounds awfully like the RoS Spherus Magna with Vezon and the "Evil/Trapped" Great Being. And I'm assuming we see some of the GB Lab in the movie, which means the GB mystery can play bigger roles later... Connection? [-TA-] Edited August 12, 2009 by The Alchemyst
Rocketbilly Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 To be honest, if this list is indeed true, and given that it's Bionicle's tenth year, I expect these to be a sort of "Greatest hits" assortment of sets. I have no idea how they'll pull it off - they're all differnt sizes, will all use a HUGE variety of different molds, and not to mention THEY HAVE NO PROJECITILE! I'd hate to see a classic set like Tahu Mata gaining a huge blaster. BUt I don't knowwhat's going on. I HOPE they are sets releases SURPLUS to the canister sets we've been expecting. I hope that's the case. After all, Bionicle deserves some big celebration for it's anniversary. Star Wars gets it, and Lego didn't even think of Star Wars themselves, so it makes perfect sense for Bionicle to get som sort of celebratory releases too. Even if it'll just be a chome gold Hau keyring or something equally as crap. But hey, nobody knows for sure what we'll get. We just have to wait for those lovely leaks :) Will/Rocketbilly
toatali Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 I think that Mata Nui returns Home with Gresh, But a Skrall follows through? Just a bit of plot
S-N Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 I think Teridax gets to Bara Magna looking for MN. Teridax unleashes his dark army on Bara Magna along with some heroes from the past, making Bara Magna the ultimate apocalyptic setting. =3
Toa Cyclone Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Well the text in the bionicle file has been updated link
Omicron Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Well the text in the bionicle file has been updatedlink Wow that Lego set designer just willingly broke a huge policy and law. -Omi
---Vertea--- Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Prolly BS- but if not, then the sets sound awesome. Tho, think about it- isn't that "conversation" pretty much what we've been speculating- and our best hopes and even fears? It sounds like exactly what we want to hear and what we expect to hear at the same time.
The Alchemyst Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 (edited) Why would a set designer reveal all this? o.o And the mistake on the 10th Anniversary. ._. And Canister sets are off. Which is interesting. Oh, I can't find the original list on Doublebrick, which is also strange. Maybe the original 6 were real? And all this new stuff isn't? EDIT: Now that I think of it, that depends on the original source as well. Where was the Atlantis pic first found? EDIT2: Exactly Vertea: Bringing back dead sets [Anyone remember the Matoro-Fever? >.>], the Price Increase, The Nostalgic "Revamp", all seem awfully specific. EDIT3: Which brings up the point, maybe the original 6 sets have validity? [-TA-] Edited August 12, 2009 by The Alchemyst
Vezon Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Doublebricks removed the list because they were asked to by Lego. Here's the message with google translator: I apologize to all readers of the forum. At the request of the company categorically LEGO John Beijer and personally, I removed the information about the sets in 2010. Personally, I ask not to publish it on the forum again for some time. If anyone wants to discuss the reasons and motives for this act, Welcome to the DoubleBrick.ru. == Hor If Lego doesn't want them shown then the chance that they're real just got a lot higher.
---Vertea--- Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 hmm.... Then we better be careful about posting the leaked names- at least the original six. Fake or not, you gotta admit-this is kinda fun.
Toa Nuva007 Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Well the text in the bionicle file has been updatedlink If this is true then this will be the most awesome thing to have ever happened. OMG
RoodakaHK Posted August 12, 2009 Author Posted August 12, 2009 Hello and thanks for the interesting discussion! :) I don't know about these sets and I hope that it's fake. But one of my familiars has access in the Russian Lego office in Moscow. He has knew that Lego (hypotetically) will release the "combined team" in 2010, with the participation of classical characters. This may be a fake or mistake too, but may explain the "crazy" set list. However, I don't believe much in this supposition. I think that we must wait for the Greg Farshtey's confirmation on BZP.
Omicron Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 If this is true then this will be the most awesome thing to have ever happened. OMG What? Set designer losing his job? -Omi
Toa Nuva007 Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 What? Set designer losing his job?-Omi Oh Omi, you are just the same as I remember you... Bringing back our classic characters.
Brickthing Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 The original six are real, as far as placeholder names go. I've got the Amazon pages open in tabs right now.
Omicron Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Oh Omi, you are just the same as I remember you... Good or bad thing? Cuz I'm being serious. The man can lose his job for this if it was real. :P -Omi
Vezon Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 (edited) The original six are real, as far as placeholder names go. I've got the Amazon pages open in tabs right now.If so would you mind linking one or two of them? I've been searching the site for a while but so far I haven't found anything.Omi: The ":P" shows that you couldn't get any more serious. Edited August 12, 2009 by Vezon
Omicron Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Omi: The ":P" shows that you couldn't get any more serious. You apparently don't know me at all. -Omi
Toa Nuva007 Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Good or bad thing? Cuz I'm being serious. The man can lose his job for this if it was real. :P-Omi I don't know, you just always seem so intense lol. I hope this guy doesn't loose his job, but he didn't seem very worried in that transcript.
S-N Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Eh, I sorta-believe the set names. The set designer conversation just seems BS to me.
The Alchemyst Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 We all skipped over that this was Tilius, except Omi. Omi's right. I talked to Cholie for a while about this and he's the one who made the "Toa Maxilos" set and passed it off as real to many people. Tilius/Zane is running off with the original set list and adding stuff to it, awfully like two years ago. In actuality, we haven't seen any other "source" other than him. =/ [-TA-]
Omicron Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 (edited) but he didn't seem very worried in that transcript. Probably because he didn't expect Tilius, his good old friend, to put it on the internet. Omi's right. I talked to Cholie for a while about this and he's the one who made the "Toa Maxilos" set and passed it off as real to many people. Plus whether ot not the transcript is real, if this was a real set designer, shit will hit the fan. -Omi Edited August 12, 2009 by Omicron
