Brickthing Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Much evidence? Only evidence is what a foreign site says. And when it comes to sites that like, translations can make it sound different and pretty vague. Not officially confirmed until it is -officially- confirmed universally, not what some czech site says.-Omi Wout has also confirmed the statement from a retail catalogue he saw, so I'm not doubting the statement. But the statement doesn't confirm the entire BIONICLE line ending, so there isn't anything officially confirming this rumour, just a lot of stuff pointing towards it.
Zip Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Heh, they would leave Click behind like Jaller's crab.
Bundalings Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Heh, they would leave Click behind like Jaller's crab. k now I'm depressed. The main evidence is all this Stars nonsense ('cause that's pretty much all it is. I wish they were just special edition non-canon sets...) + the fact that the GBs -might- be revealed, as well as Teridax coming for what seems like a super big climax... Honestly, at this point I will be glad when the Bionicle story ends. Bara Magna was promising but now all this... I just hope Lego replaces it with something similar, and that the community sticks together... ~Bunda
The Crazy One Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Heh, they would leave Click behind like Jaller's crab. I know, animal neglect going on here. I will be very sad to see Bionicle go if it does, to keep the fans happy, they would need a theme still using technic based characters, so I don't see why the whole thing should end, keep the name, loose the story.

Nightmare Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 In any case guys you have thought the possibility of the Golden Armor being already kept in some sort of laboratory. It doesn't make sense if the GB don't apeear out of nowhere. Really guys, I don't see where it is stated that te GB is appearing. Do you read things I'm not able to?

Sadly, I doubt anything can live up to Bionicle. Edited October 24, 2009 by The crazy one

Holy Diver Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Bionicle isn't going to end by a longshot. Most likely the current storyline will come to a close with the re-unification of Spherus Magna by Mecha-Mata-Nui and Mecha-Makuta, Golden Tahu will destroy Makuta from the inside with some lame, mega-blocking deus-ex-machina, God will be in his heaven, and all will be right with the world once again... That is until 2011, when, 10,000 years after the events of 2010, Makuta's long lost evil twin will attack and a new band of Glatorian-Toa hybrids are sent to find the Greater-Beings to stop his evil reign. This will of course end up being another 10-year-long money-bath for TLC.

Zip Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Anybody else curious about where the serials are going to lead us? We've got so many things to wrap up there that a deus ex machina can't fix.

Brickthing Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Anybody else curious about where the serials are going to lead us? We've got so many things to wrap up there that a deus ex machina can't fix. Riddle of the Great Beings is leading into a Graphic Novel in 2010, which deals with the Red Star and presumably how Mata Nui and Co find the power source for the BMGS. I think Empire of the Skrall finishes in a way to explain why Tuma had the weak spot in the movie. Reign of Shadows will most likely bring all it's storylines violently together to explain why Teridax goes to BM, and how Tahu and Co end up coming in contact with the BM inhabitants. The thing that wraps up the storylines that need concluding in RoS will hopefully not be Vezon, but it probably will be. GB's will NOT be appearing. Well. They won't be shown. Greg confirmed that he wants to but the story team will not let him. I hope that they don't want the GBs to shown for the sake of mystery, not that they'll feature more importantly later.

Riddle of the Great Beings leads to one of the most disappointing endings in the entire history of disappointing endings. Like maaan. I hope that they don't want the GBs to shown for the sake of mystery, not that they'll feature more importantly later. That is exactly the reason Greg used when he was visiting; the story team wanted them to always remain mysterious.
Phantoka Kopaka Nuva Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Great, the OGD is closed. AGAIN. All because of the discussion about whether the Piraka Stars is Nektann or not.

All we have heard about was the Red Star, right? I think the power source gets dealt with in the MN Guide and Comic 5.
God Iron Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Wow, Storyteam > Greg. And it's more likely the Golden Armour was left in a lab or something, and Tahu picks it up. What worries me the most? Greg has said two things. 1. Tahu turning Mata is something to do with the Ignika. 2. Tahu turning Mata is dealt with in Reign of Shadows. You know what this means right?
Refia Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Maybe Takanuva and Nuparu fix the device on Destral, and is that used to go to Bara Magna? It's something different from Vezon, at least.
Wrinkledlion X Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 If BIONICLE ends next year, I'll be sad, but at least the Great Beings look like they'll remain as godlike entities instead of losing all their prestige... And if all the Nuva besides just Tahu become Mata again, I think I'll be fairly content. I just hope that the Ben10 line isn't intended as a full-on replacement. If BIONICLE's ending, I'd rather it be replaced by another original, unlicensed line, the way it was with Slizers and RoboRiders. Maybe the new one could even be vaguely connected in some way, like maybe its backstory could be that it takes place on another world created by the Great Beings, but beyond that it would be completely new in every way. Maybe that's too much to ask, but it would be a nice thing for the story team to throw in there.
Cap'n Kopaka Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Well I really hope that RoS manages to tie up nicely. We still don't know what's the deal with -Shadow Takanuva -Alternate Teridax and Mazeka -Antidermis Brutaka -Painting Miserix (or invisible Miserix? I still don't get it) -The Hagah (was curing them from delerium JUST fanservice? I'd hate to see them wasted after having a random appearance) -Axonn (wants revenge?) Gah if these aren't tied up I'm going to be angy. That's like three wasted serials (Destiny War, Brothers in Arms, wherever Shadow Taka is from) And I'm pretty sure Vezon and Tran Krom's stories are going to be tied up. Pity, I'm really starting to dislike how overused those two are, as well as Brutaka. Feels like we're being forced to like them. I agree with Gunnar here, too. If anything, a non-Ben 10 replacement that's somehow involved in the Bionicle story would be nice. I might even like a similar line that doesn't involve the old one; the story seems to be getting awfully convoluted right now. Something like that would probably please most MOCists and many storyline fans (but definitely not all, you can't please EVERY story fan =P). I think if Bionicle does end, the best turn of events would be a line that uses Bionicle/technic elements but has a whole new mythos. I.e. pretty much the same line but a different story. ~cap'n
ShaddowCroc Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 If BIONICLE's ending, I hope it's replaced by something set in the same universe, and maybe with some of the same characters, just without the BIONICLE branding. (I mean, once the Toa Mata's destiny is complete, the word 'BIONICLE' will become meaningless anyway.) I want something set in the far future, or far past. Maybe about the Core War or something. 'Core War' sounds like a pretty badass name for a LEGO theme anyway, don'tcha think?

Brickthing Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 The Toa Mata's destiny IS complete. >> Not necessarily, because their mission was to re-awaken Mata Nui, presumably to restore him back his control over the universe. While they've woken him up, he still isn't back to full power, so they've still got something they could do to fully complete their destiny.
