Yeah. But the good thing is, the interview Tilius did says that the sets will be bigger, and be like "remastered" versions of the previous models.

I have high hopes.

Hasn't Tillius faked this stuff before, though?

Yep. Bad move on his part. Broke the whole trust factor.

I think so...I only even found out about BZP and this site in November 2008. But I've heard he did pass off a fake set as real once. :|

Meh, I say we don't get our hopes up TOO high, and instead wait for pics.

-Mesonak

@Omi: Well Bunda, that's your answer. :P

Y'know, you guys can hate me for saying this, but if this takes place in Vezon's alternate reality, I think it'll be SO AWESOME. (Mostly becuase I want a new Vezon set badly.)

Anyway, maybe this is kinda like an ultimate battle-thing where old good guys come back and mesh with the new ones while Mata Nui and Makuta fight in the background and their sets aen't released until summer or something?

Despite what Tilius says, I still think Takanuva is a canister set. The age recommendation on the Amazon page is 6+. In storyline, he did shrink once he left Karda-Nui, so he'd better not be big again. And the Ussanui is broken around the entrance to Kini-Nui somewhere around/in Makuta's nose, so I don't think that's coming back.

Quoting from Tyranide's post:

This new stuff matches what Tyranide heard, but it's still possible that Tilius based the interview on this info too. However, I'm currently inclined to believe it, to some extent.

Hope you're right about Takanuva.

You know, this is just like in 2007, when we first got our hands on the Phantoka set list. Not long after, we got prototype images. So maybe in a few weeks, we might see images.

As awesome as images would be, right now I'd be perfectly fine with just BZP coming back up. I bring this up because I want Greg to say if the list is real or fake.

Why are you taking Tilius' word for it? Out of all people?

Thanks.

Still, if a list turns out to be fake, then he's allowed to confirm it being fake. Similar to that list of 2009 sets with Brutaka in it. I remember him saying it was a fraud right away.

True, but with lego already being hush-hush on it, you can bet he won't say anything.

Most likely he will give the same answer whether it is real or fake. If he confirmed it was fake, then for future lists we could assume that if he doesn't confirm it to be fake, then it's true. Giving the same answer regardless is the best way to avoid breaking his NDA.

Really good points from both of you guys.

I honestly think if Greg can't talk about it then it's real. There's no real point in Lego being quiet about a fake list of sets.

When people can't talk about it, it doesn't confirm whether it is real or not.

I remember when I asked Steve Witt last year about Lego Elves, and he just said "I can't talk about it".

Well no elves. And word on the street is, there won't be elves.

Elves as in characters or their own line? I'm asking because I've seen a group of Castle sets that might have elves in them.

Elves in the Fantasy Castle theme (current castle theme).

And there are no Lego elves, save Dobby.

Is it possible they're in these sets? It's a bit difficult to tell if they are or not, though, since it's a bit blurry, in addition to elves looking similar to people, especially as minifigs.

Those sets are fake.

Plus the set numbes are already in use, which proves them wrong.

Don't believe everything you see on Brickshelf. Those are MOCs made by a fan, kinda like our 2010 BIONICLE fan-project. There's a topic about it in the History forum, and you can tell the pictures are fake by the graphics of the actual sets on the sides of the box.

Edit: Beaten again by Omi :P
