Those sets are fake.

Plus the set numbes are already in use, which proves them wrong.

Sorry about that.

Although has any info about 2010 Castle sets been revealed so far?

In addition, I'm a bit curious about what Greg said back when the Phantoka list was first revealed. What happened there might help a bit this time around.

I believe it was already confirmed the Nuva were reappearing in '08 when the list was discovered . . .

Why are you taking Tilius' word for it? Out of all people?

Not JUST Tilius' word. The set lists, which I believe to be real, some theories of my own, and the fact that Tilius' thing goes with the supposed 2010 info posted by Tyranide in the Bionicle 2009 topic.

Also, someone please enlighten me. What exactly did Tilius do that makes hin so untrustworthy? o_o

He made a fake set and passed it off as real, and people believed him. Then he admitted he was a tricking the members the whole time with it on purpose. Posted it in the Sets forum.

Ah, ok. That makes it a little better. :P

Didn't leaked pictures appear sometime in August last year? I heard that was a bit earlier than usual, but if we're getting supposed names this early, and they happen to be real...

Just saying... some pictures would really help out.

I honestly think if Greg can't talk about it then it's real. There's no real point in Lego being quiet about a fake list of sets.

Kinda makes the case for "don't talk about it whether it's real or not", eh? Because if they only kept quiet about possible leaks when they were real, it'd be as much of a confirmation as TLG chartering an airplane and dropping thousands of small pieces of paper with the names of next year's sets printed on them throughout major cities.

It's like on BZP in early 2009 when someone asked about the "Glatorian Vastus" they heard about in that older book description and a bunch of people flooded the topic saying not to talk about leaked info. >.>

Although Vastus did turn out to be a real name. Just not one for the winter sets.

The point is that if you're obvious about covering something up, it's not going to be an effective cover-up. The replies could've been that Vastus was a prototype name for Gresh (which is what it was, right?) instead of "OMG that's leaked!!"

I hope I'm not sounding like that, and I'm also not trying to say that if they can't discuss it that confirms the list is real. I've just been meaning to say that in my opinion if they aren't able to discuss it, then it adds a small thing to the list of reasons why it might be real.

I remember this sort of thing happening last year on BZP. It said Brutaka was a set, and also had tonnes of other wierd names.

Greg confirmed it to be fake straight up.

Also happened with the Toa Maxilos Tillius tried to pass off as real.

You can google up a cache of the BZP topic; GregF stated that Tao Maxilos was not a set, just because it was getting out of hand.

I'm going to call BS on all that Tillius added up [and now removed by "request"].

THis is completely and utterly fake. First off, Greg has clearly stated that we'll be focused on Bara Magna for the next two years. So that means that the appearance of Tahu, "Rahkshi", "Piraka", Takanuva, is not happening. Also, all those are either group names or names tha have been used before. Lego would not reuse a name for fear of confusion. This also debunks Skrall and Gresh from the list. I mean, mom is searching Amazon for little Timmy's birthday present. She knows he asked for "Gresh", but the search comes up with two of the same name. How should she know which one?

So it's not happening. Thankfully. Oh, and the Atlantis set? That might be fake. I see no new or recoloured parts, which are very consistent in themes like that.

We can't say that. Look at the Spherus Magna in RoS, there are Piraka [skakdi], Toa, Votixx. There can be different universes or possibly even the Matoran Universe coming to Bara Magna [Or something, I don't know. :P]

Also, TLG can simply change plans, they've done last minute changes before, for 2007 [i think it was 2007... might have been 2006].

If these are real, these are probably prototypes, and names aren't going to be final, most likely.

Seems to be real from what most people are saying, and the pic is pretty small...

Anyway, I'm still not calling all of it fake, mostly because of that Atlantis pic.

Although it is funny not to see any Ben10 Lego on there... [Then again, there isn't any Duplo or Beleville or stuff like that...]

I'm certain that's incorrect. Not once in the OGD has Greg been able to discuss the 2010 story, including the location. Let alone 2011. Edited by Vezon

Ben 10 probably has a later release date, so isn't in the first wave of sets. Also, some of the City sets are possibly DUPLO, because they start with 3.

As for what Greg has said about the BM storyline continuing for more years, it's quite possible that there has been a drastic change in the story team's plans. Maybe that they decided that if they didn't return to the MU and conclude that storyline now, fans (especially the target kids buying) would forget about the MU storyline, and it would be too confusing to conclude it. Recent unexpected reveals such as the purpose of the Red Star also support the fact that they may be concluding the entire MU saga for good.

There's a trident, some sort of key, and it looks like a new monster head or something.

That would be... interesting, to say the least. At first it suggests that we're back on the MU, but with Gresh and a Skrall...

And, I doubt Greg has said anything concerning the future storyline, even if it's just where it will take place. And, either way, this is almost impossible, whether in the MU or BM. However, it is possible that Mata Nui gets help, and somehow him, Gresh, and a Skrall get back to the MU.

It's interesting, though I kind of doubt it. It'd be nice to see the Piraka, Rahkshi, and Takanuva again.

I think I may have figured it out. Perhaps the "approved name list" is still out of names. To avoid any legal conflicts, they just took old names and put them as placeholder names. Possible?

-VK-

Doubt that. They usual have the approved list done by now, and I'm guessing that they just haven't decided on an umbrella name.
