ShaddowCroc Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Anyone else totally loving how awesome it is that each of the robots is designed to be piloted by the other pilot? Really? Is there proof Makuta was supposed to pilot the prototype GS?
The Dor Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Really? Is there proof Makuta was supposed to pilot the prototype GS? Basically. In the comic Mata Nui even says it was Makuta's destiny to help MN recombine Spherus Magna. And seriously the prototype robot looks like it was made for him.
God Iron Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Don't be afraid, i think i've seen what you're talking about (on brickshelf) and it's just some old megabloks. Sorry, i'm too lazy to find the gallery. It's worse then that. If you look on the Ben10 site on LEGO.com in the newest video you can see some new sets on pictures on the wall. Unless there the Ben10 Evoultion (They aren't any of the current Ben10 Aliens) It's Bionicles Replacement and It's
CabooseBM Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 It's worse then that. He's dead, Jim! If you look on the Ben10 site on LEGO.com in the newest video you can see some new sets on pictures on the wall. Unless there the Ben10 Evoultion (They aren't any of the current Ben10 Aliens) It's Bionicles Replacement and It's Screenshot it for us, please?

80 Dollar Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 The guy on the left doesn´t look all that bad...and I seriously doubt these are Cionible (New Bionicle haha...creativity fail, I know) but someone should remember them to be able to later say "haha, I told you so...".
CabooseBM Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 I'm going to withhold judgement until we get clear pictures.
Zarkan Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 I dunno about you guys, but when I read the latest comic, I was reminded less of transformers and more of something more iconic....
The Crazy One Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 (edited) I dunno about you guys, but when I read the latest comic, I was reminded less of transformers and more of something more iconic.... Oh god. The biggest cliche in all of Sci-Fi history..... Don't get me wrong, I love SW, but such an over used idea..... Edited December 19, 2009 by The crazy one
ultimate antrozek Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 In the background: Commence weeping. EDIT: 80 Dollar beat me! The guys on the wall looks like Space police minifigs XD
Bfahome Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Doubting that they're images of the new line. They look more like prototypes or just random images thrown up there for effect. Like the guys in the background of the winter Glatorian canisters.
Refia Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 The art in the new comic is fantastic, the story, though, less so. Far too rushed. And Gresh shouldn't understand a word Takanuva says. Well, maybe he doesn't, the comic doesn't show.
S-N Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Well, hopefully Journey's End will flesh things out more.
Trionx Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 I liked it a lot, I was actually surprised how much they were able to fit in considering that the NEXT ISSUE IS THE LAST BIONICLE COMIC. And I hardly look at the comics for their story accuracy. You have to remember that most kids only have read the last issue, not the web serials or books.
Zip Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 Anyone else notice how the proto GS's face looks like a Skrall helmet?
Wrinkledlion X Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Oi, this comic has a lot of problems... I wish they had time to do a proper ending. Also, I don't think Pop Mhan was properly briefed on the size of Mata Nui and his interior... Or the Stars, for that matter. And I hope that the trapdoor-explanation is improved upon in the book. At least the back cover is a nice tribute. Does anyone get the title, though?

Or it could be foreshadowing for the Golden Armor plot.
Erebus Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 GregF said he didn't have enough room to add in the Golden Armor, which the title is in fact referring to. They added the title anyway. XD
squidman85 Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Those new Action Figures look like Zooters From Duplo,i think. It's good or bad?The blue guy looks like a big bobble Maybe he is the strongest?
80 Dollar Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Mmm, the prototype robot looks soooo great...pages 5 - 6 made me drool. It´s a little light on the story depth but that´s not what these comics are for, so we should just wait a bit and hopefully, the door idea (Takanuva just walking out the MU so easily it hurts.) that seems so stupid now gets a bit explained.
Phantoka Kopaka Nuva Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Mmm, the prototype robot looks soooo great...pages 5 - 6 made me drool. It´s a little light on the story depth but that´s not what these comics are for, so we should just wait a bit and hopefully, the door idea (Takanuva just walking out the MU so easily it hurts.) that seems so stupid now gets a bit explained. Greg said there are latches all over the Mata Nui robot, so that workers and the GBs could enter inside more easily while they were building it. And I think Takanuva just happened to bump into one while going after the Rahkshi. And just so you guys should know, I asked Greg a while ago, and he said Journey's End (the book/serial) will be published in BStory sometimes around late February and early March. Just around the time we get comic 7: Rebirth. I'm surprised no one here has mentioned the part where Mata Nui takes off the Ignika. BLUE IRON MAN HEAD EXPLICITLY SHOWN.
Xion Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 I'm sorry, but there are latches all over his body, and the matoran and the like have been living there for thousands of years and yet this is the first one we come across? Also since it's in his foot that should mean the Souther Islands which are said to be INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS. Yet takanuva just sort of swans out of there like nothings happened. Personally, I think the story just nose dived.
