~Wrack'n'Ruin~ Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Or just not post it in the first place. :) No, people should be allowed to criticize. I know that Omicron isn't going about the best way, but...
Zarkan Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Well then I'd appreciate it if the recent Bionicle story wasn't praised. It is insulting. :)-Omi This is why you should not be in this topic, Omi - it's obvious to me that you can't respect other people if they disagree with you (and this holds true even if you are only half-joking). Better yet, you shouldn't even be on Eurobricks pr any other civil dicussion forum at all, since respecting other people and their opinions is basically the number one rule that governs them. Oh well, at least I tried. See you guys in the Hero Factory Topic - for once I'l glad that Bionicle's replacement probably won't have a storyline any of us like, as it means there won't be nearly as much arguing.
Refia Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 If you just go post something critisizing about something you know you don't like, you're not being constructive, you're being a troll. It's hard to take Omicron even serious in his complaints while from his posts one would judge he utterly despises the Bionicle storyline. Hate =/= critisism.
Omicron Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 (edited) This is why you should not be in this topic, Omi I have every right to be in this topic just like everyone else, because it isn't just about storyline. it's obvious to me that you can't respect other people if they disagree with you (and this holds true even if you are only half-joking). Better yet, you shouldn't even be on Eurobricks pr any other civil dicussion forum at all, since respecting other people and their opinions is basically the number one rule that governs them. So when I make an opinion which just so happens to "insult" people (according to you) and go against their ways, I am the one being disrespectful? As you just said, Eurobricks is about respecting people's opinions, and you guys didn't respect mine. It's hard to take Omicron even serious in his complaints while from his posts one would judge he utterly despises the Bionicle storyline. I never once stated I hated the storyline, and I do enjoy some of it. I just don't see it as being impressive as you guys make it to be. -Omi Edited January 12, 2010 by Omicron
Bfahome Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Well then I'd appreciate it if the recent Bionicle story wasn't praised. It is insulting. :)-Omi <something about never having said you were blindly criticizing anything> Wait what am I doing. This is Omi. Infamous among the Bfa community for taking my "I don't like Piraka torsos" comment and turning it into a lengthy argument about how my opinion is wrong and how I must absolutely hate standard 2x4 LEGO blocks and minifigs and such.

Bfahome Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Wait when did I say that? -Omi Eh, some old BZP topic from a while ago that probably got fried in the Great Dataclysm™.

Bfahome Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I don't remember saying that.Do remember saying something to the general community that if they hate Inika torsos, then they must also hate 2x4 bricks, considering that is more common mold and use frequently. However if the topic can't be dug up, then no one can really verify this therefore your claim is more than exaggerated. :P -Omi Well whatever you said, it was somehow prompted by the phrase "I don't like [inika/Piraka] torsos", which is/was my opinion. I hadn't said that they were the worst thing since unsliced bread, nor did I say that you were just blindly praising them. I just said I didn't like them. Also I don't feel like dumpster diving through dozens of searches and archives so you're going to have to go without.

Erebus Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 So, are you guys more excited for Sahmad's Tale or the extremely possible Toa Team serial?
80 Dollar Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 So, are you guys more excited for Sahmad's Tale or the extremely possible Toa Team serial? Hehe, just change the topic and the hate will go away. :D I am excited because Bionicle these days is so boring...nothing new or exciting is happening...no sets to speculate on, no major mysteries to be solved...
ShaddowCroc Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I'm kinda interested in Sahmad's Tale, but not overtly so. What Toa Team serial are you talking about though?
Lord-Koji Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I'm more excited if we get a new, 2001/2004 esque story about more or less a rookie team of new characters in the Toa serial.
BioHero Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Sahmad's Tale sounds interesting, his only appearance I can remember was in that comic. The other also sounds good, a new team of Toa that aren't Gali, Onua, Tahu, Lewa, Kopaka, Pohatu, Vakama, Nuju, Nokama, Onewa, Whenua, Matau, Jaller, Hahli, Kongu, Nuparu, Matoro and Hewkii. BIOHERO
ultra hamster Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 (edited) 1. What are the odds that we’ll ever see Akamai or Wairuha again?1) Extremely high. found this on official Greg dialogue. thought you might find it interesting. i have to say i do look forward to this and also seeing peoples toa kaita MOCs. oh by the way aren't the 2010 serials, Sahmads tale, Reign of Shadows and journeys end. or is Joureys End an extra for north americans or released later after the book comes out. Darkness Falls Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 There is, stop the needless Greg bashing. Bashing Greg has become as popular as saying Final Fantasy VII sucks. We all know Greg's writing is not the best ever, I think nobody believes that. But it's not bad either. There's far worse out there and you know it. For the storyline of a toyline, Greg writes good enough, and people should not expect more. That's only setting yourself up to be dissapointed. ...But... Final Fantasy VII does suck. And Greg's not the best writer.
ultra hamster Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 umm anyways toa kaita returning. also a serial with new toa would be exellent
Mesonak Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 found this on official Greg dialogue. thought you might find it interesting. i have to say i do look forward to this and also seeing peoples toa kaita MOCs. oh by the way aren't the 2010 serials, Sahmads tale, Reign of Shadows and journeys end. or is Joureys End an extra for north americans or released later after the book comes out. That's interesting, to say the least. -Mesonak
Erebus Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I'm kinda interested in Sahmad's Tale, but not overtly so. What Toa Team serial are you talking about though? GregF said on another site that he would like to write a serial about a Toa Team with uncommon elements, so basically not Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Stone, and Ice. But he needs to get some names approved in order to start on it. So once the names are approved, he can start on it.

Wow. That's extremely interesting. I wonder if they'll show up this year . . . in STARS FORM. That'd be pretty epic to MOC . . .

Ohgodno. We had enough of those in 2008. [And they sucked] Wow. That's extremely interesting. I wonder if they'll show up this year . . . in STARS FORM. That'd be pretty epic to MOC . . . Ohgodno. I doubt it, I mean, no more Bionicle labeled sets. Although we'll see MOCS of them in Stars Form. D: [-TA-]
Refia Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Can a Toa Mata even form a Kaita with a Toa Nuva?
Xion Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Surely, once Tahu done all his golden armour, deus ex machina rubbish he'll just be evolved back into his nuva form by the ignika and we won't have to deal with that problem?

What if he evolves back into Nuva with the GOLD ARMOR. That's like Super Saiyan 4 right there. -Omi
