Leviathan! It will it devour your soul for forgetting it's unholy name!

Yeah I agree, but the funny thing is the sets most hated often turn out great. I remember people were going absolutely bats (not a pun) at the promo pictures of the Agents sets, decrying them as the worst Lego sets ever. Cue reviews, then everyone was all over them.

Batbrick Away!

Power Miners is another classic example of a theme that was despised at first but then (at least generally) accepted. I still don't like it too much, but I'm much warmer to it than I was when I saw the first pictures. Of course, I cherished Rock Raiders, so I'm a little biased (PM has absolutely no homage to RR).

Re: 8079:

Homeboy is clearly an alligator snapping turtle that had one too many Red Bulls. For me the claws cinch it; snappers have enormous claws for digging.

Also note the turtle on the key its carrying.

WOWZA! It does look more like that than a mole/turtle/WTF (I know, Batbrick, Leviathan, I know.) The resemblance is really striking. Even the shell...

As a Bionicle fan, I am partly obliged to pick up the Leviathan Turtle for those beautiful black fin armor pieces. That little mini-craft isn't so bad, either. But even then, my priorities lie with the Cthulhu Passage A.K.A. Squid Gate. The little key things make great shields and accessories. and I imagine a lot of these elements would work in both underwater and Space creations. The monster minifigs especially. I'm already planning to mod these subs as Space Police vehicles.

I'm a sucker for underwater stuff, tho, so excuse me if I'm in love with this line. The only way they could make this better is to include the minifig sea animals that former ocean sets used to contain. my two black octopi are lonely...

I want to get the Imperial Flagship, the little Wreck Raider set (it has Sharkdude in it), and a few of the Man-ray sets so I can have my own little Flying Dutchman.

Ideally I'd also have Mr. Cthulhu playing the part of Davy Jones, but that'd never happen.

If there are shark and manta warriors, king octopus, then there will be tortoise and crab warriors :classic:.I like sets with the monsters and octopus gate.

That would make sense, but I'm all for it! I would LOVE to see a crab mutant! I'd also like to see that crab key in another set, since it's currently only in the giant crab attack.

LEVIAT - Oh, ooooh, you are a sneaky one Tereglith, but be sure to know that you tread on thin ice my friend, and I'll be underneath waiting. Bwaha! Bwahahaha!

Yes. If you would like to read all about it, you can either look at my previous post, or click on the conveniently located hyperlink below.

 oops srry I missed alot and got alittle lazy in my rereading near the end

I was thinking that it would be awesome to have mutant turtle warriors turtle-like guardians, and crab guardians aswell.

I also found it odd that there is no shark key (am I mistaken? Is that the red one?)

I thought that the turtle monster LEVIATHAN was supposed to be closer to a sea turtle but it doesn't realy matter, ( I thought it looked like a snapper too.)

does anybody have good pics of the shark yet?

Now that's the "squidman" I was hoping for!

Not that thrilled with the subs being red, but.... pop off the propellers and snap on a few "M" insignia and a couple magnets and you got some sweet new M-Tron ships to add to your antiquated armada.

I'm very pleased with the figures. They have lime green arms and hips! The faces will probably be exclusive to the theme. IMO they're better then the PM heads. The Atlantians are beutiful! They have dark blue and dark red with new mould and prints. Well done TLG!

That shark looks positively evil.

If I end up buying anything from this theme, It'll be for the sea creatures.

...and King Cthulhu.

...and the exclusive minifig heads.

I'm going to have to set aside more money for my Lego budget.

Join the club mate, I'm broke on my budget for Lego. :cry_sad: I might have to start missing meals to pay for my addiction, or steal of my girlfriend.:tongue:

I don't like the shark much, it is way too similar to the Aquaraiders one, which itself was far too big. This looks more evil and a bit better, but not worth the buy for me. Still, everything else looks great to me. And lets not forget everyone:

dear god what have you done :sing:

I didn't get the shark in aquaraiders (because aquaraiders 2 is inferior to original aquazone) so I will likely get it, besides it looks far cooler and black w/ anciant symbols :classic: I for one love the fins, and besides the set comes with the unique red key
