Err, yeah, I've really got nothing for what else the trianglewheelymcbob could be used for, perhaps an Indiana Jones treasure? Heck, anything's better than those boring skulls!

Oh and Belloq, please don't post pics that big, I'm trying to save downloads on my computer as they're running out, kill it with fire!

not if you were trying to make them move, cause there's nowere to put an axel.

Eh? I was under the impression that they worked like this:

And so the non-symbol side has an available plus rod hole. I hope.

Isn't MS paint a wonderful invention  ?

That looks about right. so they might have some use. The wizard would have to explain why he has pictures of sea creatures on his cart's wheels though...

Water Wizard

or they could be the wheels of a rich greek traveling maseuse, or something...what I'm saying, is that I could see such a cart in a rich roman bath. or something...

I've been following this topic for a long time now, and I must say, I love the concept and aesthetics. The creatures are beautiful. Although ugly, they do look great. Especially, like everyone says, for some Lovecraftian MOC. And the new minifigs and their helmets are down right awesome. The sets look amazing too, and I could put those triangle thingamabobs to good use too.

I love these sets to BITS!

So I was in Gamestop and I saw this and off the bat, I noticed that Sponegbob is holding something that looks very like this. Anyone have any idea of what these triangle things hold in real life mythos with Atlantis?

Triangle was always magical and mysterious shabe, and some people thinks that place called Bermuda Triangle hides gate to Atlantis.

Are these the same people who think that boat-sinking waves are an unnatural phenomena?

Unless legomilk is speaking in riddle (which might sometimes be true), I think he's referring to TV adverts or something similar, in order to promote Atlantis as a new theme. I also looked more closely at the cache pics and noticed that there are small advertisements for a Lego film or TV series on the side of some of the boxes (which may have already been mentioned, but I would like to say I saw it too)

Yep :classic:

that is an interesting theory you brought up lord of dragons, I had forgotten about that...

Huh? Your words confuse and frighten me!

Batbrick's brain broke!

Can someone explain this? How could someone have that already?

Somebody has managed to snag a 2010 Power Miners set already as well - they're coming into shops now, but they're not meant to be sold yet until closer to 2010.

Yes I noticed that too earlier and found out that it is an advertisement for a lego movie slated to come out nwxt year i think, called Lego Adventures, I think there is a topic floating around somewhere about it but perhaps someone can provide a link

There are so may theories and misconceptions about the Bermuda Triangle and Atlantis...

The most common one linking the two is that Atlantis was in the area that is now the Bermuda triangle, and that it was powered by a giant crystal (like in Disney's Atlantis), which randomly emits bursts of energy that sink ships.

The real reason that ships sink and planes crash there is the methane crystals at the bottom of the sea. They emit bubbles that mess with engines and altimeters. This, coupled with the high frequency of freak waves caused by the currents in the Triangle, makes for sudden and traceless disappearances.

Of course an alternate explanation is provided in my awesome novel, which also involves bigfoots and lots of explosions. And a fight scene on a helicopter (hint: everything has a fight scene on a helicopter).

Atlantis was real and it was never in the Atlantic Ocean. This is a toy, there are no squidish or shark people in the oceans.... that we know of....

A few stores, like TRU get the new sets early, sometimes really early. They are supposed to sit in the back until official release, but TRU is so slow they probably just throw everything out to be sold.

Atlantis was semi-religious socio-political commentary on Ancient Greece, written by Plato. It could be considered the first polictical editorial essay. It was at no time real. It's just fun to think that it was, and it makes for a really good fiction story :classic:

hollisbrick, the King Octopus/Cthulhu connection has been explored in the pages 20-30. I don't think that Lego would intentionally link a kid's theme to the 19th century phantasmagorical horror of H. P. Lovecraft, though. (also, wikipedia is your website? WOW! That's awesome  )

I'll have to go check out my local TRU. My mom is gonna go there for my birthday shopping soon (Rubik's has a new product!), but I might have to tag along to point her to any leaked 2010 sets.
