Forresto Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 If you look closely, the Jedi Temple, Council Room, Rancor, and Malevolence (not Invisible Hand) are all either Minis or not even Lego, so I doubt that we will really see those as sets anytime soon. This doesn't disclude the possibility of one of these in the future. Grievous doesn't look all that different from his original version. He is simply colored differently. Sure, he has ball joints, but I'm sure that was just a thing the animators did to make him more posable because BD arms would never work on ball joints in real life. If this is the Grievous we are getting, I wont buy it. Why would'nt you buy it? I mean it could be better but it's at least better then the first The ARC 170 looks slightly different from the 2005 set, especially around the front of the engines and the nose, but that may just be due to the animated style. But even if it is supposed to be the old version, it might still be a hint that we are getting a new version soon, but who knows. There is one apperantly coming out next year check the 2009/2010 news topic Quote
Legoking Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I got an email and saw a comercial, I think, on cartoon network about that. That does look like it is going to be pretty cool. Quote
Drock Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 (edited) Hey, did anybody notice Anakin's shadow whe he is looking at Darth Vader's TIE? I saw this. Maybe homage to the scene in Attack of the Clones where Anakin's shadow kind of looks like Darth Vader. George Lucas said that was pure coincidence and he never intended it that way or noticed it. Oky Posted August 31, 2009 Author Posted August 31, 2009 This doesn't disclude the possibility of one of these in the future. Of course not. It just wont be in the near future, as I said. Why would'nt you buy it? I mean it could be better but it's at least better then the first Because I'm happy with the GG that I already have. In fact, I prefer him in white rather than tan with random black markings on his body. On the other hand, a printed head would be nice to have... There is one apperantly coming out next year check the 2009/2010 news topic Er... Yeah, that's what I was referring to. That does look like it is going to be pretty cool. What is gonna be cool? I saw this. Maybe homage to the scene in Attack of the Clones where Anakin's shadow kind of looks like Darth Vader. George Lucas said that was pure coincidence and he never intended it that way or noticed it. Or maybe to that cool old Phantom Menace poster with little Anakin throwing a Vader shadow on a wall on Tatooine. Quote
starstreak Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Oh here's a link to a HD version of the ANIMATION. Well I can still hope they make this: Quote
prof1515 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I didn't like this silly cartoon because it's just an advertisement really. The "humour" is obvious and overdone past the point of witty and into the realm of lame. The "plot" is just an excuse for marketing toys, not storytelling. In all, a waste of time. As for speculation from the content, the people who made this cartoon are not the set designers and thus don't count on designs to mirror one another. If they do or if they don't, the only thing that would really be appealing is the R2-D2. A chromed dome on R2 would be a nice touch and would make for a nice figure. Quote
382nd Legionnaire Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 thanks for the video, it was ok for a lego made movie, but it was great to see crossovers like the AT-AT on hoth and indiana jones. I wonder if we'll be seeing the malevolence as a set? Quote
Big Cam Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Thanks for postig this, I missed it on air. Quote

In some ways I do agree with you and it is very much like a commercial but if you did'nt read these comics , then the plot is kind've out of context. Quote
