HOLY CRAP YOU GUYS Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 OH MY GOD HE JUST TOTALLY ROLLED HIS EYES AT YOU WITH AN EMOTICON HOLY CRAP YOU GUYS
Jipay Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Righhtttt. Seems like you couldn't resist to register to add this brilliant comment to the discussion I guess. Yes sometimes I use emoticons. It happens. Sometimes not, in fact it mainly depends if the emoticon can express something better than words. Or actually no, sometimes, I use both. Sometimes I am also definitly going off topic. It depends aswell. By the way, ever heard of this special forum where we send people who have been bad ? *warning emoticon use* :| */warning emoticon use*
languages Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 OH MY GOD HE JUST TOTALLY ROLLED HIS EYES AT YOU WITH AN EMOTICON HOLY CRAP YOU GUYS Your point is.... I cant wait for these sets, bring me pics!
Jipay Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Well then wait for the 25 th ;) From what we know, the sets will be wonderfull. The batmobile is an absolute must-have.
DoubleT Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 My Thoughts... When someone is making a new site, they should atleast be nice when they advertice..... The same should be as a member, even if you only rigister to post once...... There was a time when EB was a small site... And yes we did advertise on severel sites, but we always asked the sites before advertising, and did it like a gentleman site.. But this was all when we where a very small site..... We have grown big by proving ourself, with news and a great community. The General rule is........ Be nice, and people will tend to help you... We here at EB are ALWAYS happy to know new people, so more can enjoy our great hobby... You are welcome to advertise your site here.. just dont overdo it, and help to be part of this community.. Friendship is better than War..... he he the Viking said...

DoubleT Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Indeed... But BatmanIAm, I have no problem with you telling about your site...... Next time something like: "Hi Guys, I have this site what do you think? etc" :) Just somefrindly advise :)
Vader Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Yes a simple Hi would of been good, we would of been alot happier had this of been done.
MattZitron Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Yes, 25th AHOY! Annoyingly, I'm in London from the 20th to the 23rd. I would have booked longer had I known.
sam89 Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 I don't think it would have mattered anyway: We are pleased to welcome trade visitors ONLY.NO members of the public or children under 12 will be admitted
MattZitron Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 I don't think it would have mattered anyway:We are pleased to welcome trade visitors ONLY.NO members of the public or children under 12 will be admitted I'm pretty sure I know at least 1 person who could have got me in. Remember guys I'm like a mafia don. :-D And last I checked I am over 12. As long as they checked physical, not mental, age.
captaintau Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 And last I checked I am over 12. As long as they checked physical, not mental, age. That's probably the case for most of us here! So, why arn't members of the public allowed? You'd think it would be a golden opportunity for advertising etc. I can understand not allowing young kids.
Jipay Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Such conventions are a mess to organize, even when you know who is coming. It is made for real business, people can order things, deal are made there. Now imagine that "standard people" like you or me who are not there to buy are monopolising the time of the people on the stand while some real buyers are waiting. And don't worry, we have other times to celebrate the glory of the brick :-D
captaintau Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 You are, just be nice about it ;) I don't understand, sorry. I am what?
KimT Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 I believe there's another thread on Batman. Can someone please close this one? It's getting out of hand - or is it just me that thinks this thread is a little too much? I'd like it if I could just read one thread to get new info on Batman and be rid of the other (this one). A meta discussion on what and how to post it doesn't belong here :| (yes I too use smilies) ;) KimT
Jipay Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 You are, just be nice about it ;) I don't understand, sorry. I am what? He just didn't get what you were saying. I guess Kimt is right, this thread is a little bit weird. Case closed
