KimT Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 That's one evil looking Shadow Lurker you've constructed there A neat brick built droid with a menacing appearance. I like the photos you've done to share your work with us, especially the icy pic is good and serves the MOC very well. Keep up the good work. Quote
ProducePrincess Posted August 19, 2009 Author Posted August 19, 2009 ^ Thanks KimT I'm glad you like the frost picture because it cost me 5.00 dollars for the aircan to make it all freeze up quickly. What i did is i held the aircan upside down so the liquid proppelent came out . It froze the water i had on that bot in about 3 seconds Quote
I Scream Clone Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 A great creation to be sure. I admire peoples abilities to turn all the little non-studded pieces of Lego into great robots etc. The ice pic is a great idea, and shows a creative depth to the photography that lifts this above other similar MOCs. Well done. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Love the frost! I don't think I've ever seen a Lego MOC pictured with frost. Very nice work. Quote
Commander Flash Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 As others said, the frost is awesome. That lurker is sinister and malevolent looking, and looks like he gets the job done. Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Oh My God! It Looks like real robot when you froze him! Magnificent work! Quote
Skipper 24 Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 This looks like the cross between a ninja and a robot. Ninbot? Roboja? Anyway he looks very cool and your frost effect looks great . Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 That has a very scary or spooky feel to it, like it will get you. Quote

That and I think this forum needs a little more views Quote

Because now I'm inspired to freeze my echo base! Great job on the robot, by the way! I love the gun! Quote
prateek Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 That is really cool. I like it frozen the best. I'm tempted to freeze something but I don't know what Quote
TheBrickDaddy Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Your frost effect is genius! I love the simple connections on the arms and legs. Nicely done! And I was thinking the same thing about Hoth, Darth Legolas! Quote

WastedGrunt36 Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 This reminds me of a Cylon, and both robots are deadly. Quote
ProducePrincess Posted August 21, 2009 Author Posted August 21, 2009 (edited) $5 or $500? Because now I'm inspired to freeze my echo base! Great job on the robot, by the way! I love the gun! Sorry it is just five dollars not a scary five-hundred Oh and since you like the gun I'll tell you what the original design was going to be. What the plan was is i was going to attach an axe blade to it to make it an axe/gun for fighting in close corners. Glad you like it! That is really cool. I like it frozen the best. I'm tempted to freeze something but I don't know what Thanks! You can freeze anything you want because it turns out cool in the end , what i did the first time is i just froze minifigs in bottlecaps. This is it on minifigs. as you can see it looks grat on anything Edit-To the fellow who wanted to freeze his hoth set .I think that might cost you a fair bit and you would have to risk damaging some of the pieces. All you would have to do though is soak it in water and freeze it with an aircan that is held upside down. You could also try the freezer but it may not work as well. I hope you try this idea because it will be pretty cool to see a larger moc with this BTW my 300th post Edited August 21, 2009 by Black Rabbit Quote
KimT Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Actually "Cole" already did the freezer move: Hoth On Ice by Cole Quote
ProducePrincess Posted August 21, 2009 Author Posted August 21, 2009 Actually "Cole" already did the freezer move: Hoth On Ice by Cole It's a shame i hadn't seen that earlier becasue his turned out really well! I guess the studs on his moc held up most of the water. Quote
ProducePrincess Posted August 27, 2009 Author Posted August 27, 2009 The original bot that the shadow lurker came from was this - It was supposed to be a mining bot that got smashed up a bit. Quote
