Even though I pretty much only collect SW sets, I love the whole LEGO line, so I like to just browse the entire forum and see what's new.

I've been using both links alot and it got me wondering, is there a difference?

Wouldn't active topics have new posts in them??

I'm just curious that's all.

New posts misses a lot. If you jump on the site at 2pm, quickly look at one topic, and then come back at 5pm, all that "New Topics" will show is between 2pm and 5pm. All the stuff that was shown at 2pm is "lost". "Active topics" doesn't work that way and shows a lot more.

I much prefer "Active Topics"... and that's why I added it to the header of all pages!

Same here.

I prefer "Active Topics" as it provide a great overview of the current discussion among our members.

"Active topics" is my main way of navigation on Eurobricks and always in the same place on the page  I click it dozens of times a day :sweet:

Good to know, I am now an official active topic user. As opposed to a New posts user.

Yes . I mainly just stay in Star Wars though so it's not so much of a deal. I just check to see if there are new posts using the icons on the left hand side of any of the forums.
